We are now over 1,850 and within striking distance of topping 2,000 signtures by the end of today, one week after starting the petition.

To encourage the hestitant to sign, and to circulate the petition link and request, for others to sign, I have reposted Tony Ortega's 1999 story on some of what the Church of Scientology's Office of Special Affairs has done to destroy my life and career. The article is called "Double Crossed" and appeared in the Los Angeles Weekly and the Phoenix New Times.

I'm not very well-connected but I did get a couple of people to sign.
I'm surprised that there are not 5000 sigs yet. Tory's YouTube subscriber list should be adding thousands, especially with her urging them to sign.

Tips on signing...the tiny url on Karen's post above does work if you click through...it doesn't work if you just copy and paste in the browser.

Here is one you can click through or copy and paste. It is easy. You click "register" and fill out the form, go to your email and find the password they send and write it down. Then click on the long link in the email that "verifys" your registration. That will put you back to signing in with your user name and password, and then you can click on the petition.

This is a totally new system of petitioning, and this is our one hope...already new petitions are requiring 25,000 signatures before the administration will act. We are lucky to have this opportunity.
