I just returned from the awesome memorial for Alexander Jentzsch in Long Beach. Tiziano Lugli & his wife, Jamie, sang as did Joy Grayson, the wife of soap opera star, Michael Fairman. The memorial had it's bumps along the way as the water was choppy, and the boat rocked, making filming & standing in one place challenging. And the humidity sucked.

We released colored balloons in the air. tossed rose petals & wreaths into the sea, and had a champagne salute to Alexander. Other notables present were Sinar Parman (ex-personal chef of DM), author Bent Corydon, Samantha Domingo, Mark Bunker, Graham Berry, Paul Jay Salerno and many Indies & Freezoners. A camera crew from "Inside Edition" were there to film the memorial & interview Karen & Samantha.

A couple of OSAbots were seen in the area, but made no attempt to board the yacht.

It was a beautiful, yet heart-wrenching memorial.

Awesome photo by Tory of Karen just before rose petals & wreaths were tossed into the sea.

Good on you for going, Smurf. May Alexander's Soul Rest in Peace.

CoS's Karma, as well as the Karma of the individuals involved in his death, has gotten a whole lot worse as a result of 27 year old Alexander's unnecessary death. That is, if their Karma could get any worse.

I am glad that Karen got her opportunity to say goodbye to her son, in her own way. I am sure he heard it and knew it was filled with love.

It was a beautiful and moving afternoon farewell to Karen’s son Alexander whose untimely and tragic demise continues to prompt more and more questions.

The musical section especially moved me, as did Karen’s eulogy. I cannot imagine the level of hell that poor Karen has been going through since she learned of her son’s passing. However, she has comported herself with amazing strength and grace.

It was an eclectic group of mourners; Karen recently told me that Alexander was a very “inclusive” young man. It was the first Scientology funeral service I had attended and afterwards we released bundles of red, white and blue balloons which soared majestically into the sky. We tossed wreaths in the water and baskets of rose petals were scattered across the waves. Karen was heartbroken that she had been prevented from scattering her son’s ashes across the ocean waves and so, she explained, the rose petals were a symbolic alternative.

Among this eclectic group were some former church staff that I had only heard of in the hushest of tones, or read of in church documents. I was delighted to finally meet and talk with them. So out of this sadness comes some new acquaintances.

A practical piece of advice - watermark the photos of Karen, the ones with what looks like a media scrum around her, with the esmb, Ratbun or xenu website addresses. I can assure you the cult will try to use the photos in some smear, black ops crap to say Karen was only interested in having a media event to hurt the cult. The scrum should be photoshopped out anyway since they should only be capturing the moment, not be a part of it.

I'm very glad Karen was able to have a memorial service. I have infinite sympathy for Alex and the life he was forced to lead and left too soon. Poor kid.

Did the cult end up trotting out Heber at their event?

"The previous day, on Thursday morning, beefed up security and people carrying flowers were spotted at Scientology's Hollywood Celebrity Centre on Franklin Avenue as the church put on its own memorial after initially telling de la Carriere that it would not have one.

Karen received an unconfirmed report that Alexander's father, 76-year-old Heber Jentzsch, who is the president of the Church of Scientology but who had not been seen in public since about 2004, did attend, and looked frail and emaciated."

Thank you all for your kind words and condolences both on this board and privately.
Very much appreciated.
In order to make Alexander’s senseless death have some meaning ~~ to effect some change in the brutal DISCONNECTION policy so that other mothers do not endure this.
The first thing I want to state is the plain and accurate truth in Marty’s book
“What is wrong with Scientology” p 86
QUOTE
Thus we see 2nd generation Scientologists gleefully informing on their parents for not snappily conforming to the latest party line. Consequently those parents are declared suppressive and lose their families and careers overnight while their snitching children are heaped praise within
Alexander was born and raised within the Shadows of Big Blue. (The Scientology Complex in Hollywood)
Of the 27 years of his life, only 3 1/2 year were spent out of the Sea Org.
The culture within is to rat on everyone else.
Read this essay I wrote on how husbands report on their wives, children report on their parents and RTC Religious Technology Center gets told everything right down to a dissident thought called in the Church”Enemy Line”.

http://www.scientology-cult.com/david-miscaviges-rtc.html

The last time I took Alexander to dinner, he was showing off his new I phone to me.,

He casually scrolled down his address book to show me the tel nos of who in Office of Special Affairs had befriended him.
He had the home, work and cell phone of Kirstin Caetano, External Security Chief
He had the home work and cell phone of the Chief of Intelligence in Office of Special Affairs whom he was TEXTING multiple times a day !
The writing was on the wall.
I was on the eve of speaking out about Church abuses and I no longer could hold my tongue but I dreaded Alexander would be seduced to stay in the Church.
There was always a 3rd party in my mother/son relationship. The “Church”

Alexander, me and the Church of Scientology.
Whenever we had a rough period (upset with each other) The Church of Scientology was right in the middle, acting as a 3rd party.

One day some 2 1/2 years ago Alexander was visiting in his lunch break. He had keys to my property and would drop in almost daily for a few stolen moments in his lunch or dinner break or on his way to Celebrity Center where his wife Andrea worked.

Alexander read a document on my desk that I had downloaded from the internet.
Alexander duly turned me in with a “Knowledge Report”.
We had a big upset Mother and Son on him snitching on me.
I can tell you, Alexander was very conflicted within his soul of having to rat out on his mother,
As a result a local “Ethics Officer” Julian Schwartz said he demanded to come over and examine all my computers and that I was suspended of all Church activity until that occurred.
I am known to give a tongue lashing on occasion
Julian got a severe tongue lashing.
Without going too much off the topic, children do report on parents, and are lavishly rewarded.
The entire system is one person snitching on another, especially family members.
This is the modern day “Church of Scientology” up to the minute.

Judging by its description, it was a wonderful memorial.
I wish I were at the memorial, but I live in New York City.

Alexander was not a Christian or a Jew, so I do not think that the words like “RIP”, “He is with his Father now”, etc., are appropriate. I do not know what to say.

I wish that Alexander suffers no more.

Seriously, DLRH. Sometimes you come across so ignorant & insensitive. RIP is very apropos regardless of Alexander's religion.

It sounds like it was a very beautiful and fitting memorial for Alexander. Sorry I couldn't make it, but my thoughts were with you, Karen.

I really do not want to go into a lengthy argument at this thread.
To me “Rest in Peace” implies a religious reference to the soul, not to the thetan.

Village Voice: Video of Alexander's memorial at sea, filmed by Mark Bunker:
http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninsca ... tology.php
The article continues with great reader comments from this tumultuous week, including that there is no CoS exec willing to get in front of a camera, live or even video-taped, and discuss big controversies like the Cruise-Holmes divorce or the Alexander Jentzsch memoral.
