We baked a pumpkin pie and made gløgg (mulled wine).

Just finished wrapping presents. It's 12:07, so that's a record! I wish everyone could see their children this season. Unfortunatly that's not the case, and I hope for those people who can't that their children come home soon.

Thanks, long-ago star-gazers that figured out that on December 25, the Sun ended its period of appearing to "stand still" (what solstice means) and began to dramatically move against the constellations, and have longer days.
