Do you know, there are more ex-scientologists who have spoken out publically than there are Class VI auditors in scientology?

No, I read the list over looking for names of people I know personally (not from this forum).

There wasn't anyone I know there, except Martha Greene, and I barely knew her; not sure if I ever spoke to her.

It's not the size of your list, its what you do with it, as they say.

Well, for one thing, when it is webbed and wikified, with additional background material, etc then it will be more accessible for the mainstream media in search of source when researching stories damaging to your cult.
Increased popularity of such a resource, something which anonymous is particularly good at, will encourage more to speak out.

Also, it must be pretty disheartenting to your average longtime scientologist who may have known a few people on that list, including some top auditors and other higher-ups who they once looked up to, perhaps having some good times with, and are now supposed to believe they are all evil people on the say-so of OSA PR.

I have asked this question when I was in scientology and I got blank stares, glib comments and a changed subject. I'll ask it again after I set it up.

If you click the link and look at the list you will see many people who have been "declared suppressive" who are shown to have attained the "state of clear." If those people had attained the "state of clear" then according to Hubbard's writings those people must have had "case gain." Also according to Hubbard's writings the primary attribute of a suppressive person is that they do not have "case gain."

If a person has attained the "state of clear" or become any level of "OT" then per scientology's own writings that person has had "case gain."

Here's the question.

How is it that a person who has had "case gain" can be a "suppressive person?"

Now back to the thread topic.

One thing that makes the list valuable is that it puts in one place all the names of all the people who were members of scientology who have spoken or written out.

Going through the list, I recognized some names I had heard before and went and searched them with Google. Oh my my, what I found showed me that yet one more time again scientology is worse than I had thought.

For researchers and journalists this is an excellent resource as it will save them much time and effort in their search for information about scientology.
