I was specifically responding, though, to the fact that they had him prosecuted for something he didn't do (which Gumby implied does not happen); he was only exonerated after a long legal battle, inability to protest, and lots of generously donated monies.

Hey he (and you) had no trouble trying to dox members of WWP so why not ask for dox proving what he said. I at first was on smurfs side even though I asked one of the mods if we could have a moratorium on doxing kids. I did not expect that smurf would be banned. I wanted him to be let back in at WWP but when I saw that he was doxing people over here I said screw him. He was acting childish and stupid. I know that he apologized but only did so because he was probably feeling heat from a mod here. Plus by letting scientology know we were interested in the kid probably caused that child to be hidden deeper into the bowels of the cult. It was another stupid move on his part. I will never trust him again or you because of your childish doxing behavior. I don't care if you want people to know who you are but I wish to remain anonymous.

I have battled against scientology since the 70's and I don't think they know who I am and I would like it to remain that way. Do you have a problem with that?

What I meant to say is that the Scilons knew who Sparrow was before he started protesting. He started protesting his former employers at the building he worked in when he was on cult staff.

The cult didn't go to his place of work. Sparrow is fearless & he voluntarily gave out his telephone number to Scilons to call him if they had any questions.. and they did, at his place of work. Sparrow occasionally accepted these calls. Sparrow eventually lost his job, but he told me it had nothing to do with Scientology.

Sue and Smurf have been going at it for years; infractions, etc., but yes - at the time of the ban, Smurf didn't get a warning, sue just banned him.

The whole thread is gone. ("Shades of scientology, Batman!") Smurf Band is still there, though.

Not that it matters much at this point, but a PI (hired by the cult) did go to his actual work place shortly after he started protesting.

Last night in the mod forum we were discussing a guideline for doxing, which we could place in the New Members Area. Some good ideas were formed, and although discretion calls would have to be made on an individual basis, it would at least be something to point to as a known rule in the matter of doxing. During this group conversation, sue arrived and said: there will be no doxing, period. I asked what we're supposed to do when someone drops dox, and sue said remove it, and if it continues, ban the member. Then I posted a link to David Love's thread, and asked so do you want this removed? Then I blinked and I was banned. I had just enough time to post publicly before I had my IP banned.

So, it really wasn't a matter of what you did, Smurf. Sue is a dictator there, and even when all the mods are coming to a very reasonable approach to address doxing guidelines, sue doesn't care. It's his way or the highway.

Smurf - look at the pattern: sue returns after a long break. He changes servers, and has a new look for WWP. He's the only admin. Germany gets banned, you get banned, I resign due to direct abuse, agreed to return as a mod, got banned for discussing dox, now 3 mods are gone, and doxing is verboten. And this is just the beginning, I would bet.

Just one clarification, since it has come up several times. I posted initially in the thread about Smurf that I didn't want to comment much at the moment. The reason for that is simple, and duller than the speculation about it. I had just posted in response to the question about Smurf's ban that bans are between an individual and the staff. Minutia, but as I said it keeps coming up.
