Damn this case has more legs than a caterpillar. It is proving to become infamous, running second only to the OJ murders.

Mark Geragos is Scott Petersons attorney. Currently he is leaking a theory that tape debris found around the infants neck could be a noose placed by a Satanic Cult.
Right Mark.

Mark Geragos is the same attorney that got ass whooped in court defending Winona "sticky fingers" Ryder. Here he tried to float the tale of Winona actually "researching" shoplifting for an upcoming role.

I don't know if Scott Peterson is guilty or not, but damn, the evidence sure seems to all point to him. I think his boat is the real link in all of this. I suspect that if he did it, he did it down at the dock, probably rendering her unconscious, and floating her in the water beside the boat until he could sink her, then he wet his fishing lines etc., and then came in. Strictly conjecture, but certainly more plausible than a Satanic cult. Yeesh...

And the tape was probably an artifact that was already in the water and happened after the fact.

I agree, Scott P. looks extremely guilty. The sad fact is, this is really NONE of our business now that it has gone to trial.

Scott P. is due a fair trial, all the media hype does is insure that he will have an extremely hard time having one.

I really hope they don't turn this trial into a farce like the OJ trial and allow camera's into the courtroom.

Maybe they should put OJ on the case to track down the REALLY REALLY REAL killer. ;)

Actually the hearing is in July. The trial is 1-2 years off thanks to California laws.
The damning evidence is that of all the bodies of water to fish in, he picked the one where the bodies were found.
Nonetheless the prosecution may be in trouble. While the crime is listed as a homocide-they can not determine cause of death.

DATELINE SUNDAY

".....he has denied it all with four simple words: "I am not guilty." Scott Peterson has been arrested and charged in one of the most disturbing murder cases of the year, the killings of his wife Laci Peterson and their unborn son. Prosecutors are confident they have their man. But the latest evidence in the case is leading to some new questions. NBC's Dan Abrams reports on the very latest in the Laci Peterson investigation. And you can keep up with the latest developments in the case by logging on to our Web site: http://www.dateline.msnbc.com"
