Christine Hastings is a well-known "S" dressage judge, and is also a "C" judge on the International Para-olympic Equestrian Committee. She owned and operated a 50-horse competition barn in Michigan and has now moved out to California.
Christine has ridden and trained up to Grand Prix level and has won several USEA and USDF national dressage awards. She judged the USEA national dressage final as well as the Canadian national finals. She was head dressage instructor both at Bloomfield Hunt Club in Michigan and at Lake Erie College, Painseville, Ohio.
Christine has given successful dressage clinics throughout the US. With a keen eye for young dressage prospects, Christine has bred and imported a lot of top sport horses, many of which she competed herself. Christine shows and trains as well as judges, and creates a relaxed and supportive learning environment for her students and horses.
She is currently training in Los Angeles, and works with British Horse Society certified instructor Matthew Horton, who events and rides dressage as well.
