There were 6 protesters tonight at the Shrine. When I arrived, I saw Doug Owens being harassed by Flyer Guy as we walked past the barricades and onto the blocked-off street facing the Shrine. OSAbots called the cops and they followed in pursuit. Eventually, Jason True said that the cult got a special permit blocking off the sidewalks, and a cop ordered me to go behind a barricade at the end of the street. I refused and walked across the street.

Tory had some words with an overzealous cop & told him to keep his hands off her. He threatened to slap handcuffs on her. As all the protesters gathered across the street, Doug Owens stayed on the Scientology side, and we observed him later being arrested and driven off in a cop car. I have this all on video.

There was a French reporter there wanting to get film footage on Anonymous. She was waiting for Marc Cabian, who was a no-show, so Lynn Campbell put on a Guy Fawkes mask and stood in for him.

The event was heavily attended, with alot of staff & publics coming off the buses. We did not protest on the S side of the Shrine, where the publics driving their own cars park & enter the Shrine, so have no idea of the numbers entering on that side.

Tory & I did recognize the buses from Gold Base bringing staff to the event. We also saw Ben Shaw, the former Flag OSA director in Clearwater, who blew, was recovered, and is trying to earn his way back into the good graces of the cult. Ben looked haggard and disheveled.

Honestly, Glib, I didn't see the permit, but after Jason True became annoyed with Tory's confronting him, he called a cop over and complied with Jason's request to move us from where we were.

The LAPD's love affair with the cult was clearly present today, and as you will see from the videos, Tory & I pretty irked over it.

How many times does one have to be arrested and released without charge in L.A. before it becomes a case of police harrassment?

Many thanks for posting the videos. It was as close to "being there" as I could get. The behavior of the LAPD was disgusting to say the least. I could not live in LA. I couldn't live in any city where the police are totally unworthy or my respect, my trust, or my taxpayer dollars. The LAPD fucking SUCKS, that's just all there is to it. I especially enjoyed the excellent bull-baiting in the 3rd video.

BUSES DISRUPTED


I and a fellow protester in GF masks protested from 1-5 PM at Big Blue in an attempt to talk to cultists as they boarded buses. Protesters are kept too far from the Shrine Auditiorium for my liking. Eventually the buses showed up and the drivers were puzzled because they were told nobody is boarding on the street and to keep their doors closed. I watched one bus fill up on their property where I could not go. I could have shouted at them but they were at the Ideal Org and that shouting could be considered violating their religious ceremonies (such as auditing) which could be going on inside. So I only shout outside of their museums and administrative buildings now. I counted seven busses which each held about fifty people 7 x 50 = 350. The bus we saw leaving got a good look at my fellow protester's sign "Debbie Cook Blew and you can too." He says they watched it closely.

Morale seemed even lower than usual (although it was raining). Or it just could be that both of us were wearing Guy Fawkes masks. That was probably it. Just look at the faces of these three guys as the see just two masked protesters.


Jason True came out and hassled us a bit and asked if this was the four year reuinion protest and where were all the others? I wish there were more of us but, frankly, it only took two to shut the street down. My fellow protester saw about thirty cultist emerge from behind a building en-masse and run around the corner to avoid him.
