I have decided to stop keeping Scam of Scientology up. I spent less and less time to keep it updated and due to my financial situation I think the best solution is to stop with my website.
Started in April 2007 after having the information for a few years as part of my homepage, it had almost 280,000 visitors, and almost 1,15 million page views. It still is at #6 in Google in the Netherlands.
In the course of this week it will be taken off line.

Thanks to all visitors in the past years, and to those who supported me.

I just wanted to shortly introduce myself, as I am the person who has taken over Peter's website. He has done a terrific job all these years, and has well deserved his partial retirement from his activism.

I hail from WWP. Not part of the Anon culture, but started investigating Scientology as a result of their antics. I found, and still find OCMB to be an enormously valuable resource for everything Scientology-related.

I believe that recent updates regarding the Dutch Org haven't been posted yet on this board, so let me do that here. Firstly, the tax exempt status has been revoked for a foundation which they fraudulently used for their Ideal Org donations. That one took media exposure and questions in parliament to nudge the Tax authorities into taking action. It's quite a big hit to their Ideal Org program and IAS income, though, and I am sure it caused a nice dose of cognitive dissonance inside the Org.

Secondly, the Health inspection initiated an investigation into Narconon. This turned out to be surprisingly easy to achieve, due the Canadian close down and the deaths in Arrowhead.

I'll mostly be lurking rather than posting in these parts, but rest assured that people will continue to closely watch Scientology (and take action whenever possible) in the Netherlands.
