Something went awry in the handover, but I don't know what. I installed Google webmaster tools alonst a month ago now, which accurately counts incoming links. The number dropped from 4200 to 3100 in the space of less than a month. The reason is prolly some simple mistake from my side, but I've got no clue what it is. I have been monitoring the google behavior and am pretty certain the cause of dropping two places is the mystery of the disappearing inbound links. More worryingly, the number isn't stabilizing, it keeps dropping.

I plan on posting on webmaster forums to see if I can get any help this week. Hopefully they can, because otherwise I'm bound to eventually disappear from the front page.
