So..I like commenting on the Huffington Post. Gives me an opportunity to hone some writing skills and sharpen my wit (something I used to do here at Clambake..back in the 'good ol' days'..ha..ha...) Anyway, a couple times I made reference of scientology in posting in response to an article. It was somewhat tangent to the article (even if stretched just a teeny bit), but I don't think either comment was posted. This is interesting because I don't see much of scientology in main headlines anymore (have they retrenched?), but evidently the fear of scientology's penchant for legal recourse remains. I may have even been put on some type of 'red flag' list there as my comments are 'reviewed' most of the time when I post. Anyway...simply a nice, quiet, sunny day here in So. Cal. so I thought I'd put up a thread and say hello.

^^ Not to defend CoS, but maybe there is another reason why your posts under constant review -- HuffPost is an extremely leftist publisher, some of your views may not be in line with their philosophy.
As for myself, I do not post anything on right-wing and left-wing media outlets.

Huff Post leans towards New Age. Noted skeptic P.Z. Myers of Pharyngula* has directly criticized Huff Post for artilces that are fluffy, unprovable, pro-quack, pro-woo, pro-religion. Their religion page, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/religion/ , is quite kind to bronze age sky-fairies. Don't expect them to jump into this fight.

That was true - it was in last year's top 10 pseudoscience websites!

However Huffpost has a revamped Science section - here's Arianna gushing about it - so it may improve:

Huffster leans towards New Age, but couldn't LRON and his 75 million year xenu story, plus the fact that he is dead, considered Old Age?
