Outside of Gary Numan's album, Replicas, I can't find anything that connects him to $cientology.
Judging from the lyrics of his songs on that album, especially the bonus tracks added later,
I have to assume that if he was involved with $cientology he is no longer in good standing
with that organization.

That's pretty crazy. Sounds just like someone in the Sea Org.

One does not have to be so melodramatic about the downstats. There is a cure for them -- false upstat reporting (been there, done that).

When the stats are falling
