Those who are involved with $cientology speak a different language from English. It may sound like English but it isn't. It's $cientology's loaded language. Often $cientology's office of special affairs (OSA) will recruit someone from the ranks of $cientology's minions (followers) to go and spy on someone who $cientology's office of special affairs has identified as a 'suppressive person' (SP). If they do this with you, you may be able to detect it if you hear certain words or phrases uttered by the person sent to spy on you. I'll list a few of these words and phrases to listen for. If anyone thinks of any others, please post them.

flourish and prosper
keyed out
make it go right
product
production
valuable final product or valuable product
out exchange, out point, out agreement, out reality -- or other use of 'out as an adjective.'
my universe -- or other possessive word followed with 'universe.'
universes (plural)
rabbit -- as in 'watch them and make sure they don't rabbit.'
compliance
false report
falsehood
comm -- for communication
comm cycle
cycle of action -- or -- action cycle
start change stop
rawr rawr
misunderstood -- as a noun
on purpose
indicate
suppressive
intention
evil intention
I really got that . . .
indicators

In addition to those things, $cientologists will tend to repeat themselves if they are not acknowledged when they say something.

I'm sure there must be more.

If you hear any of those things from someone then pay closer attention to them because they may be where they are to watch you and report what they observe to $cientology's office of special affairs.

(edit)
In their writing they may write 'out point' as one word, 'outpoint.'
The opposite of 'out point' is 'plus point' but it's rarely used. In a way that's kind of telling.

I agree that the above phrases aren't used in business or in regular conversation, outside of Scientology.

I would slightly disagree with Don Carlo by saying that the words “product” and “production” are used outside Scientology, but the other words you won’t see in real life on regular basis (The word “falsehood” is often used in logical deductions).

My favorite Hubbard word is “DevT” because I was often accused of creating DevT (developed traffic)

It's the phrases that are strange to my ear. Individual words like compliance, product, etc. are of course used in non-Scientologist conversations. "Rawr" isn't English; it sounds childish.

Affinity.

That one's a dead giveaway. Don Carlo touched on it, but I find it's easy to detect scientologists. Their language tends to be awkward.

"Rawr" is something Hubbard said in a lecture. It isn't used much but people inside $cientology use it occasionally in emulation. The words that are used in English will be used in a manner that sounds strange.

Another thing to listen for is words that are used as parts of speech other than what they are or as parts of speech that are not common for them. In other words, adjectives and adverbs used as nouns, nouns used as verbs, verbs used as nouns and so on.

Other to woks, they never say spoke to or talked with. It's always comm, in comm.

A gerund or present participle that has 'ness' added to it.

Examples: 'beingness,' 'doingness,' and 'havingness.'

Then there is the phrase and variants on it: 'grant beingness.'

reward myself

Within $cientology you'll hear this quite a bit. "My stats are up so I'm going to reward myself."

There is a kind of tacit expectation of people in $cientology that they do not get rewarded by the organization for achievement for the organization. Instead they have to provide their own reward for achievement for the organization and until achievement for the organization occurs they are expected to withhold self reward even though they may have the means to do it.

Yes, "valence". Always reminded me of chemistry that I used to hate during my high school years.
"Validate" Even when I was a Scientologist, I knew that Hubbard was using this word incorrectly -- one can validate a document, not a person.

This is just a question, as I have never been in Scn.

When they say "stats are up", does that mean they have made sales and money for the organization? Does it ever mean anything else, as in number of visitors to the org, or phone calls made?

I get the impression it has only to do with sales of books, courses, donations, etc.

Thanks in advance :-).
