A video was just posted on Youtube involving a baby being used for Scientology ORG fund raising in the UK. First off cute kid, now that is out of the way, I want to do a serious evaluation of the video. Some things that strike me are the obsessive and circular nature of Scientology when it comes to fundraising. In this video the baby says "Basics, Library Donations, Renovations & Help the Org" all of these are tired sales pitches of the cult, clearly so tired they had to put a new face on it.

I wonder, have the parents of this child seen the Australian show Today Tonight, that covered Scientology child labor camps? http://youtu.be/IjKIqxBB_kA Perhaps they saw the ABC Nightline interview with Jenna Miscavige who talked about being forced to carry bags of rocks for hours a day at age six? http://youtu.be/IjKIqxBB_kA One would hope that a parent would be a guardian of their child's welfare but the truth is that these people put their cult first over their own blood. The protest boards are a buzz with net postings by COS members about how they have proudly handed over their children to the Sea Org and worse. As Scientology continues to die the slow death, they turn inwards as all tyrannical organizations do in a last ditch effort to hold on. This video, while of a cute baby is exploitative of her as it tries to capitalize on her Innocence . Can anyone really give their child to a cause where the leaders own flesh and blood is treated so badly? If I were this child's parent I would ask, what happened to David Miscavige's Mother in Law? Where did his brother go, why did he leave Scientology? Why is Jenna saying she was abused? Why is DM's dad been relegated to busing people around in golf carts?

Never has the future of children in Scientology been so bleak and that leads me to the visuals of this video. I know that England is a rainy place but it always looks like there is a cloud over this Org that never breaks. Then the baby, just happens to find the basics laying in the street like trash? The Org is dead, a sterile wasteland that is devoid of people, color and sound. The audio voice over is eerily reminiscent of L Ron Hubbard's audio when he was mocking babies.

At the beginning of the video it states "No babies were harmed in the making of this video", wants bet?

On a high note the poster of the video invoked (FAIR USE NOTICE:) when making the video. I am glad to see the sudden turn towards free speech, lets see if it last as people remix this video down the road.
