I just don't get it but I assume the indies are like former heroin addicts who are now just on methadone.
I heard this comparison that Scientology is like being addicted to a drug several times now too.
I was wondering if this "drug addiction - likeness" has been studied scientifically somewhere. It seems to be one of the mechanisms by which Scientology holds power over people to get to their savings, inheritance, etc.

On the other hand, independent Scientologists seem to be a large group that actually cares about the abuses, and they tend to have first-hand information about the situation within the organization.
It is of course a lot more comfortable for "Non-Scientologists" to just look the other way and to want nothing to do with the whole thing.
Insofar this webpage is really great and valuable!
But we need to continue to fold things back too... after all it seems Hubbard is the one who wrote all these terrible policies that set the course Miscavige has been following up on.
