I already posted this in the picket report, but I think it could use its own thread.

This is an interview at the idle org opening in Orange County on June 2, 2012.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwugjr_A ... ature=plcp

She refers to having a lot of information queued up to help family members wake up, and one of the things she talks about is the PDC omissions here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG9X0gEe ... ature=plcp

Maybe this will help other get out, or get family members out.

This link http://cinema.usc.edu/writing/index.cfm does not bring up that interview.
It may be a different link from the one you wanted to post, I'mglib.

Is the interview from this link the one you wanted to post?

What a wonderful video. She did a great job of telling it like it is and you made it easy for her by your obvious caring and non threatening questions.

Well done indeed :)

I hope this gets seen by many.

Thanks so much for caring and for doing this.

You did such an outstanding job interviewing her, Glibby. I really liked how you asked and she articulated about the decompression period. Too many don't take the time to breathe, take a look and question after getting out.

It is kind of funny to hear how she was blaming herself for everything that was going wrong inside the cult -- she wanted to be a useful person, etc. Her experience is quite different from mine because I am not accustomed to blame myself for my peers’ mistakes.

When I was a Scientologist, I singled out a group of Sea Org members who were ‘responsible” for all the shit that I observed in CoS. They were the auditors who could not use Dianetics properly to cure heart conditions, kidney ailments, etc. They did not know how to use the Tech, so they were disgrace to Scientology. But not even for a moment I thought that it was my responsibility to make things go right.

I watched part of this video a week ago. It's pretty raw.

I think Wieber picked out a pretty good quote to sum up every $cientologist's relationship with $cientology.

Wieber wrote:

It's painful you wake up you realize how much you've invested into this cult, and you're standing on the outside looking at the true nature $cientology's culture.

When you longer behave in the ridiculous way $cientology demands you behave, you see how "your friends" were never really friends at all.

But it is good she's standing up for herself.
