QUOTE: The NY Org is planning... a grand opening in their
newly renovated building on Sep 26, at 11 AM, and they want to make it a
spectacular event.
Take a look at this email below from Jean Brasel. She's an OT ambassador
and is involved with getting people to go to NY to do reno's, and they want
a lot of people to go.
But here's the catch, they pay your trip if you 'volunteer' to go
there and help with the updating of their CF. Ha! I still remember
the fiasco at the complex when they 'hired' hundreds of
'volunteers' to get the CFs of LA Org, ASHO and AO for exchange
of training.
Due to the obscene prices that David Miscavige keeps on imposing on
scientologists, a lot of people of course volunteerd, but the problem
was, that later on, someone said 'it was off policy' and as usual,
they did not delivered what they promised.
So here we have it again my friends, "free room and board" plus
airfare for exchange of 'volunteer', they call it volunteer, so they
can later renege on their promises.
Of course, a lot of people want to go to NY, so I am sure this a
trick for the 'grand' opening event, as it will make them look like
there's a lot of people for the event. As usual, they're back to their
tricks to make themselves look upstat to the rest of the world.

Subject: New York Org renos
The NY Org is slated to present its newly renovated building on
September 26, 11 AM, with their grand opening.
It promises to be a spectacular event!
What is needed immediately is for volunteers
to go to NY to help with their CF files, as this needs to be
done in line with the opening. They will pay ALL expenses,
airfare, room and board. Somehow I don't get what this is about. CF stand for Central Files, right?
Why do they need 'volunteers' for, extending the CF database of NY org? Policy requires that CF (Central Files) be kept up to date. That means that
when a person purchases a book or service from that org, a folder is made up
(actual folder not just a computer entry) with the person's name and a copy
of the invoice is placed in the folder. Each time this person purchases a service
or book, a copy of the invoice is placed in his CF folder. These folders are
kept in big file cabinets in the org.
Staff are required to write letters to CF. A carbon copy of each letter is to
be placed in the person's CF folder.
The paperwork in a Scn org is simply outrageous. CF files are never up
to date which means there are usually years worth of copies of invoices
thrown in "to be filed" boxes as well as CF file folders all over the place
and never returned to their proper place in the file cabinet.
Part of this has to do with the fact that the orgs are so short staffed
and don't have anyone to file these things on a daily basis. The other
problem is that this is a cult stuck in the 50's with paper files, folders and
file cabinets. They are stuck with this policy and can update it to include
computer files but they can't just stop using the paper files because
that would violate LRH policy.
The volunteers are needed to go in to the org and round up years
worth of invoices and letters and get them all filed alphabetically and
correct all the "addunk" address unknown and duplicate address.
