I would just like to say to you this................
You say that therapy doesn't work [re suicide]
my question........how do you know that ? how can we know everything ?
Are we assuming that there is nobody alive today that was on the brink of suicide and then turned their life around ?
By the manner with which you write I can tell that you are an intelligent person so i'm sure that you can see the logic behind the above.
Do your own survey don't listen to me.............
To say that therapy doesn't work is one hell of a blanket statement.
For example there is a new therapy called E.F.T.
Emotional freedom technique
Details and practitioners are at
http://emofree.com
That has amazing results far in excess of anything that I have seen, for instance Vietnam vets that 30 years later still only get 4 hours sleep per night as they are still getting images of machine guns in their heads are completely cured in a matter of an hour or two.
I personally have helped people with E.F.T.
Anyway my only other advice would be to see the movie
"What dreams may come" with Robin Williams
The reason that I feel compeled to tell you all this is that I personally have come from a very bad place psychologically and through therapy dug myself out,but as I say again don't listen to me do your own survey......................
