Those of us who are following the Lisa McPherson Wrongful Death case in Florida (the Scientology-induced negligent death by kidnapping of and withholding proper medical care, to put it politely, from one of its own members - ostensibly to keep her away from the "evil psychs" they abhor and are planning on picketing at the S.F. APA meeting on May 19th -
are interested in hearing this.
Please keep posting this information, Anonymous. The whole sad and criminal shambles can be viewed at the above link and also on many other websites, including here on FactNet as well as
http://www.lisamcpherson.com/home.php Folks, this is the cult with front groups like CCHR, Narconon, Criminon, Able, Wise, etc etc. etc., you can count on at least 10 hands.
Find out how you, in your community, can help put a stop to this octopus. And keep vulnerable family members away from this cult scam; that's when they want them, when they're vulnerable, and that's when they get them, however bright they are.

Good for you. I wish I could be in San Francisco on May 19 for a counter picket.
Scientology has flown banners saying, "PSYCHIATRY KILLS". May I suggest picket signs saying "SCIENTOLOGY IKILLS" wuth a picture and/or name of a specific Scientology victim, i.e. Lisa McPherson, Noah Lottick, etc. For handouts.....a brochure detailing how the victims of Scientology died.

That picket of the American Psychiatric Association is reported here, too, #3 in their news posts. What people don't realize is that Psychiatry was L. Ron Hubbards #1 competitor for "business". Nothing to do with "religion". But gotta hand it to him for cunning, eh? Make your Dianetics book into a religion when it didn't convince the Psychiatric community of its brilliance back in the 1950's.
Here's what Scientific American said about it at the time:
http://www.xenu.net/archive/fifties/e510100.htm A few more reviews of L. Ron Hubbard's "Dianetics" when it came out.
http://www.xenu.net/archive/fifties/ Psychiatrists mainly ignore the Scientologists. I doubt their picket will have any effect on San Franciscans other than to make fools of themselves.
Possible L. Ron Hubbard response to his critics:
You don't like what I'm saying? Well no, I won't submit it for any scientific or academic peer review, are you kidding, they might find out I'm a total fraud, just like my naval career and my flunked out college physics class. So. I'll just put another marketable label on it in these times of great change and shift from mainstream religion, and call it....Scientology Religion.(TM) (C)
Copyright and trademark it and sell it for BIG BUCKS!
