Upon reading comments in the "Canberra.yourguide" segment of the Canberra times on-line readers comments, there was a post by Matthew Dent posing as director, CCHR.... however subesquent posters outed him and posted comments in no uncertain terms that he was Scientology, and they didnt care what front he is hiding behind, Scientology is Scientology and for him to take his perverted agenda elsewhere.

Whilst googling several forums about these comments, one poster mentioned that the canberra bus interchange in Civic is not the same since the Scieno shop closed down

Is this true??? if so great news. The posting was recent (9/10.05)

As I am only a casual/occasional visitor to Canberra, perhaps some Canberra based SP could check and confirm if the org in civic has closed down, or moved ... or whatever... perhaps the Cherubs dumped blackness upon it....?

In response to my previous post, a little birdie has told me that the new address of the org is Unit 4, 7 -11 Botany St Phillip.

From memory, this is a cheaper rent commercial area south of the Woden Shopping centre, and kinda out in the sticks, surrounded by used car dealers, garages and workshops and the like. The buildings there are typical bland shop/office fronts with business on the ground floor, and "suites" on the upper floor, accessed by a narrow stairway.

The old org in Civic appears to have suffered the fate to which all Scientology orgs will eventually succumb. It looks like L rons 2nd visit to heaven!

Also, interestingly, is that it is listed as a "dianetics centre" .... no mention of scientology, yet the old picture and address remain on their web site. Scientology does not appear anywhere inte phone directory too Can anyone supply a pic of the new place?

Looks like a case of DM's marvellous expansion ...... followed by intense contraction.

A Dianetics therapy centre is listed as being in the suburb of Page, with a mobile phone number contact. I wonder if they have government approval to run a busines in a residential area? Anyone want to check this out?

Also the CCHR is now operating from an address in Watson .... run by the ubiquitous Matthew Dent.

Also worth noting is that the "Pancake Parlour" in civic is owned by a Mr Philip Barton, who on his own blog site mentions several aspects about ECT and psychiatry that fit CO$'s agenda. Also, a Philip Barton has been posting to various local newspapers lambasting psychiatry and the mental health system, and his posts are followed almost immediately by one from the CCHR director agreeing with him. Talk about Laurel and Hardy!

Kirsti Watcher's site lists a Philip Barton as having completed several CO$ courses. Hmmm Coincindental ???

Canberra org has been downstat for quite a long time ... looks like the stats fell off the bottom of the chart. What's the bet that the former CO$ staff is RPF'ed somewhere?

The thing that most amazes me regarding scientologys attacks on the "Psychs" is that anyone with any sort of psych history, psych training or psych meds, including kids who took ritalin in grade school, are declared "illegal PCs" and are rejected from ever receiving scientology auditing or training or being on staff.

So what is the scientology solution? Why do they care? Scientology has NOTHING to offer in the place of professional medical care for mental disorders. In fact, scientology has policy that states that they help the able become more able (able to write cheques at least) and the extensive PTS (potential trouble source) tyes I, II, III and A to J to bar admission for anyone who might have real problems or a real education. (Unless of course they have some real money).

A to J are *specific types* OF PTS. (in addition to Type 1, Type 2 & Type 3)

PTS Type A; intimately connected with persons with known antagonism to
mental or spiritual treatment or Scientology. ....


PTS Type B; criminals


PTS Type C; persons who have ever threatened to sue or embarrass or attack
or have publicly attacked Scientology....


PTS Type D; responsible for condition cases


PTS Type E; persons not being audited on their own determinism.


PTS Type F; persons who want to be processed to see if Scientology works.


PTS Type G; persons who claim that "if you help such and such a case"
everybody will want Scientology.


PTS Type H; persons who "have an open mind"., but no personal hopes or
desires for auditing or knowingness.


PTS Type I; persons who do not believe anything or anyone can get better.


PTS Type J; persons attempting to sit in judgement on Scientology.

PTS Type One. The SP on the case is right there in present time actively
suppressing the person.


PTS Type Two; The apparent suppressive is only a restimulator the actual
suppressive. The pc who isn't sure, still roller coasters is type two.


PTS Type Three is mostly in institutions or would be. In the case of the
type three the person sometimes has ghosts about him or demons who are
apparent SPs to him.
