afternoon. Karen Black was there as well.
The news? She's out of Scientology.
I can't relate the conversation exactly, or what led up to it. My friend
said these were her words: it's run by evil, greedy people and I don't
want anything to do with them.
I so wish I was there to ask a few carefully dropped questions. My
friend is not a critic, nor did she know KB was ever a Scientologist.
I guess the celebs are jumping ship too..

Wow! Man, it really looks like the shit has hit the fan! with all the news I am reading here.
Finally something is going to happen?!!! I just cant wait to see what develop. Its about freagin time. As I said in another thread, what goes around comes around. Like my dad used to say 'si tu sèmes des carottes, tu récoltes des carottes'. Might seem very simple but very true. Even if it takes awhile to happen, it does at some point.

If this is true, it means I can watch "Trilogy of Terror" again! Remember that one....the little African totem coming to life and chasing Karen all around the apartment?

No bigger example of that for me than Greta Van Sustern. I liked her show, though I thought her obsession with Natalie Holloway was unseemly. But I really liked FNC’s nightly lineup and like to toggle back and forth between it and MSNBC in the evening. But FNC heavily promotes her show. In fact it was part of the deal in wooing her away from CNN, where she thought they didn’t give her enough promotion.
So every time I have to look at the mug it reminds me of $cientology and all I can picture is how she actually falls for getting sec checked. Every time her mug is plastered on the screen I find myself yelling “Ahhhhhhh Xenu Girl!� .. and changing channels.
Anyway, not to distract from the euphoria of Karen Black leaving, which is wonderful, wish more would follow. |

Thanks Arnie! I was having a crappy day today ... caught in the anger mode at being DUPED for so much frickin' money by Co$ and its ridiculous Scientology cosmology!
So good news that Karen Black is out!!! Yahoo ... hope more celebs follow ... followed by public and staffers!!!!
