I would not think its a problem to critsize critics
Honestly self examination is a vital thing
and your thought was right on, it would be a nice thing to do, you know, decent, kind.
Others may disagree but likely they are horribly people who should be pelted with koosh balls

In all seriousness, this is great, happy news! :D

I don't know that someone can be rewarded for something like this, but in my opinion we as critics could go back and delete any scurrilous, mean or distasteful posts and images regarding Karen. It sounds like she has been distancing herself or out for awhile now. Just to know she said something like that at a party is worthy of praise.

Just a thought.

Regarding this post of mine. What I was I was thinking of when I dashed off this (what was for me a) happy post, was that I know we sometimes PhotoShop lurid, ribald or otherwise nasty pictures and posts about hotties like Karen.

I was just thinking if Karen were to come here, it might be nice for her to not run into a picture of herself on all fours chowing down on Tom Cruise or something like that. An unlikely scenario? Perhaps.

But notice my post said we could and just a thought.

I wasn't critisizing critics.

Gee Lucy, I'm responding to you and you may never see it. Bummer. I think my first ever 'success story' in scientology went something like "Love is the door; Scientology is the key" (You can see that I was well on my way to wasting 30 years of my life). Anyway, if we delete some of that middle part it seems I come up with the same thing you said.

Thank you Arnie for more explanation on your posts re: Roan. I can see where and why you decided to make a point. I also have utmost respect for your character, integrity and devotion to a very important cause.

However, I also see how a poster's integrity and repute can be trashed (even if temporarily) if they somehow create a post that finds itself caught in the crosshairs of a very respected activist who decides, for one reason or another, to run a training seminar.

I don't know what I learned from this 'training seminar' and I certainly don't know what I learned from this whole episode.

Friendly Nature,

I continue to lurk, just time for me to take a "thinking" break on all this. I loved your response. It brought a smile to me my face.

Thank you Arnie for posting your thoughts on this. To me, this explains clearly what you were thinking and why you made the OSA accusation of Roan. I still don't believe that Roan is OSA. But I do agree that his/her original post about Karen Black was rude and uncalled for, which is characteristic of OSA, but not always OSA.

I think from time to time we have all been guilty, myself included, of defending against spurious comments without the explanation to back the thinking. Taking the time to explain, in the long run helps to clear the situation or at least ease it up a bit, especially if it is truly an OSA attack.

But anymore to me, whether it is OSA or not, civil caring behavior is in order. It stands by the FAQ and it is just plain common decency. Recognizing and knowing the culprit is one thing, how to engage with the culprit is another. And that I have a lot to learn about.

Arnie I think you are the bees knees. You are a troubador in the undressing of Scientology, a man of honor, integrity and heart. You truly have faced the darkness of Scientology, made it through and are helping many to free their minds from this rubbish. I am forever thankful to you.

For the moment Scientology has worn on me. I am officially taking a hiatus from any serious posting, a cheer to a new comer, activist, protester or proflex from time to time, but otherwise I need to take a full-on break. I am a critic, and a very quiet activist in my own way. And that is the best I can do at this time.

This board is amazing, continues to be and will continue to be. I am eternally grateful to Andreas for hosting it and all those that speak the truth about this truly insidious organization (Co$/Scientology).

All in all I truly love everyone. As weird as this statement may be to many, even to me, it is my truth, especially those that make me angry as it shows me truths about myself I wish not to see. And, even those that are deemed OSA. Someones got to love um', how else will they ever wake up without love. That is how I see it. Love is the key. What we think about life and how we love or what blocks us from love, I am finding are the way to truth.

I am tired, my mind is tired from all this. So I am taking a rest.

Think well. Think love. Be open to truth ... And please take care with one another.

Thanks lucy

do something for me...that would steal a win from osa... delay your hiatus just for a little while longer, even a few more days....the hateful exchanges serve to drive sentient humans off to other topics, in search of a little compassion and humanity... if this exchange, WORKS in inducing ONE good person to go elsewhere, THEN it becomes a successful action for Scientology and you know as well as I do, that SUCESSFUL ACTIONS ARE REPEATED...

There were times, that I wanted to say screw it... Who needs these scientology screwballs... I mean why should I care, that Hubbard's scam has redefined the art of thievery... into the creation of a virtual slave society.. programmed to believe anything they are told.. That is, incidentally the "End Phenomena" of OTIII...

"Willing to believe anything they are told"

That is also why Scientology uses its "OT Committe" members for handling the net...

"Willing to believe anything they are told"

But even when I was completely disgusted, and thought about just chucking it, or merely felt I needed a break, I would NEVER time my breaks to be coincident with a dead-agenting depopularization style attack on someones integrity.

To do so, tells OSA that thier LIES WORK...

Yes Ive taken breaks, but always when nothing is going down, (besides scientology!)

That takes away from scientology A BIG WIN.

my 2 cents

Meanwhile.... Im going to watch SOUTH PARK this evening, play the same materials that Scientology's Scientologist Lawyers Helena Kobrin

(Above, a picture of Helena Kobrin in Arnie Lerma's Basement while ransacking his house...)

and the unindicted co-conspirator in the US vs MSH Criminal case Kendrick Moxon, described under penalty of PERJURY of the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia... as being the TRUE AND CORRECT TRADESECRET and COPYRIGHT MATERIALS OF SCIENTOLOGY.

Come Laugh with me lucy!

Ten PM tonight on Comedy Central

FN, what can be learned from this thread is......

Hopefully Karen Black did blow $cn for good. It would be cool if she went public and shared her experiences. And if more celebs could break through the cult's scam of using Hollywood for new raw meat, and bolt, that would be awesome.

Thank you for the reply Tom. yes, I am glad for Karen if indeed she did leave. I am also an oldtimer; back in the days when Chick Correa and Karen Black (and you MUST remember Stephen Boyd), were the noted scieno celebs. Seems like an eternity ago.

This fact has had me hitting the backbutton all morning. I'm done for the day, or maybe a few because who doesn't slip up from time to time?

Arnie,

I will definitely laugh with you tonight!

And I know of many others who will be viewing the SouthPark Episode and laughing with us as well.

Arnie, I will always be lurking, and contributing to some degree. My break is of my own accord, it gives me more time to be out and sharing the knowledge of this scam. But I will hold out a few more days. That I definitely can do for you.

All the best to you!

lucy :D

Are the stars out tonight
I don't know if it's cloudy or bright
I only have eyes for you...Arnie

The moon may be high
but I can't see a thing in the sky
I only have eyes for you...Arnie

I don't know if we're in a garden
or on a crowded avenue

You are here and so am I
maybe millions of people go by
but they all disappear from view
and I only have eyes for you

Poor Helena Kobrin has the sad face of the "humorless" and "compassionless" so typical of
$cn's hitmen squads.

Kinda bet she won't be watching South Park tonight.

Speaking of the Scientology Lawyer Squad, has anyone heard mention of any 'ava grams' lately? It almost seems like they are not putting up much of a fight anymore against the growing Entheta... And wow is it spreading fast.

*raises a toast to everyone here for the re-airing of South Park "Trapped in the Closet"*

The fact that Karen Black is now not a Scientologist is an excellent thing. (I hope that more Celebritologists follow suit)

Ah yes, dear sweet Ava Paquette, she has been quiet with her threat letters hasn't she. Or they haven't been reported on the net.

I suspect though, when film THE BRIDGE is released, her and other
$cn pettifoggers will heat up their
word processors again. Just a hunch....no a prediction. :)

At the risk of being trashed again or (best-case scenario) of not being listened to:

"Make up your own mind" and "Think for yourself".

Platitudes, hmh? When did you last think for yourself?

Which is really just a nicer way of saying "When did you last think?" (No, please, don't feel obliged to make that painful process public).

And, yes, your bad "song lyrics" do need a lot of work. Maybe Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings can help you with that.
