I have tried to not let Mr. 'I'm better than you so that gives me the right to insult you and degrade you in front of everyone on the board to see' get to me.

I am still puzzled as to where that is coming from. I know this place can become a battleground sometimes. I was arguing about a precise point. I wasnt attacking. You just jump at my throat. At least if I had done something to you, I would understand.

You should keep your venim to those that are NOT on the same side than you. Not to someone who is on the same side of the fence as you.

If you have something to tell me about ME, pm me instead of insulting me in front of everyone to see.

I am on the same freakin side than you!

PEACE
Whitedove

Hmm.. I'm not quite sure if you respond to my post Whitedove?

If you are, I'm certainly not insulting you (not intending to anyway). - In fact that remark about waking up and get a clue ticked me off as well... It hit home, so to speak. I can't see any way for me to be offended, since it's true. But slightly hurt, yes. Bit ashamed that I was that way.

When I made a call for peace, I did it in general so as to not offend anyone really... But I assure you that I didn't target you at all!

There is a very grey area betweeen when you step over the line of what you are personally uncomfortable about doing, thinking that it is wrong but somehow "they" convinced you you had to do it "for the greatest good" and what is clearly plain criminal. What I find most disturbing about the Scientology indoctrination that I allowed myself to be duped by is that they (and I myself included when I was trying to indoctrinate the less "informed") would always take a person a fraction of an inch beyond that person's comfort level and next time that comfort level had been moved a fraction and another fraction could be obtained. So the Scientologist who has maintained his Christian beliefs is basically right when he claims that Scientology allows him to maintain his beliefs in Christianity. The narcissistic celebrities that claim that everything they have seen in Scientology has been fullhearted religious praticing a belief system that "works" are correct because they have been humored and only taken as long as their personal comfortable-level would allow them to be taken. Behind their backs both groups of course have been ridiculed and despised for being "PTS" to the middle class or whatever. So I think like SchwimmelPuckel that both what I originally said (most Sea Org people at Int are good, well-intentioned people) and what Roan said (they need to wake up and take responsibility for what they are doing) are correct. Our only disagreement would be how to make them wake up.

I just saw a show about the Nazi soldiers in the German concentration camps, guilty of the most horrendous crimes against humanity. Many went on to live productive, honorably lives, denouncing what they participated in in their youthly brainwashed states of existence. I wish the American army would march into the RPF {and Int) camps and set the prisoners free so both they and their brainwashed captors had the option of waking up other than by their own conscience which doesn't seem to have set in yet, or maybe has set in in some very weird ways (at least from an outsiders viewpoint).

Tommy Davis, a senior church official with the Cof$ Celebrity Centre in Hollywood: "Look around (the Cof$ org). People are out here busting their butt every day to make a difference." Quote from: Inside Scientology by Janet Reitman

This statement by Tommy Davis illustrates the point... There's a video clip somewhere on XENU.TV where Rinder uses the exact same argument, but I failed to locate it.

Allright.. To say: '$cientologists are busting their butts to make a difference.' is an effective PR oneliner of course. We readily fall into the assumption that the ceaseless toiling and unselfish sacrifice of butts is doing some good. That the difference is for the better of something. - So that calculated effect may be all there is to this statement. It's actually drilled with the reporter TRs. (I drilled that on the PR course.)

However, the statement is in line with the core $cientology belief that we are all (humankind) entrapped in our bodies and 'insane' as a result and by remedy of implants, engrams and body thetans. The 'difference' they work so hard to accomplish is that we all find the ultimate spiritual freedom in not needing our bodies anymore.

If all that were true..

I don't care for that difference anyway.

Puzzlement would have been one of several possible appropriate reactions, simply because...
I can be a real ass-wipe at times!
:yes!:

I should have done a much better job of seperating my "gripes" about a general malaise that I sometimes see here from comments directed toward you about what I perceived to be an example of such.
Sorry about that.

And this in one of Lafayette's golden rules:

"Be willing to experience anything."

(One golden rule is in scientology a new slant on life, from which the above quote was taken. Another is in the way to happiness. There may be more than that but those are two I know of.)

No, nothing toward you.

You just walked a through an intersection at the same time that a mad, careening driver sped through!

Or put another way:
Several bandits have robbed a bank, but as they exit the bank their bulging bag of money bursts and $10 bills are sprayed all over the street. The culprits have made their getaway and most of the bills are being cleaned up/retrieved by bank employees. But along comes Whitedove who stoops to pick up a 10 spot. Unfortunately for her, hard-ass Officer Roan happens upon the scene at the same time! :batman:

I think you're fine just the way you are, Whitedove. Your posts make this board a better place.

Gypsies, monkeys and now bank robbers!

You will use any old excuse to be rude.

There was nothing going on in this thread that gave you any cause to insult Whitedove. You did it cause you're mean.

You did it cause you're mean.

Like clockwork, she appears. Thank you Itsaline for helping me to set my watch again, it's easy when you respond in your predictable, vindictive, rub-somebody's-nose-in-it kind of way. My only suprise is that you (FOR ONCE) didn't use it as an oppurtunity to trash Arnie or his website!

It really is my fault though: I knew you would come back into this thread this way.

I considered PM'ing Whitedove instead, but like a fool... oh well, never mind.
