In support of your protests, I don't know what kind of response there will be and we are rather small but it is all I can do. I live too far from a CoS center to travel and am too damned poor to pay for fuel. I hope that it helps I am also posting on my game guild forums for the same purpose.

Those of us that have escaped gotta stand together I might not have been CoS but we have our stories as well.

Most of the ex mormon sites are either apologists or on the extremist end of antimormon which is why I go to that one. Smaller but also friendlier and more flexible in their views. I got out when I found out about the magic underwear though, just couldnt take it seriously anymore after that I am afraid. I don't really have anything against the lds church either other than I see so many similarities now with the Co$ just that the Co$ is updated from the mid 1800s.

Not much I can do but do as requested and spread the word however possible. I game a lot and do it in there as long as it isnt prosletysing or anything like that. Posting on my various forums and telling all my friends and neighbors as well. Other than that due to my location, I am not able to help much more directly.

Going to the temple and wearing Mormon "underwear" did not bother me. Didn't hamper me and my love-life at all.

Anyways...this is a board about the CoS, so I'll now defer to it. ;)

Agreed, this is about CoS just passing the word along where ever I go.

My two favorite subjects! There are so many similarities. They both tell their followers what to think. They both have very imaginative stories that you'd have to be brainwashed to believe. The big difference is that Scientology hurts people and steals their money. Mormonism, although misguided, can help people. Maybe Anon will go after Joseph Smith next!

Thank you for your support churchlady, I recieved my letter from Greg Dodge yesterday I believe saying that I was officially out. Of course, it took threats of having my bishop arrested for trespass after warning to get it done within 30 days and without a visit from the reclaimation department.

My letter specifically stated that I wanted NO visits and demanded that the 30days be waived. Of course membership decided to ignore that until I called.
