Scientology Retirement Plan
|
|
|
Step #1 Check out.
Step #2 Get a new body.
Step #3 Check back in.
We don't have time or the money to baby sit with a bunch of slow moving, helpless, dependent, sickly, grey haired people who can't even remember if they did OT 111. Just get the hell out of my way. We're trying to clear the planet; move that wheel chair.
The above was not taken from a LRH policy just applied as if it was.

Despite the indignant reactions from both the Right and the Left, I believe Greenspan's predictions on Baby Boomer Social Security, that there will be less and less for more and more. Less wage earners and more beneficiaries = less entitlements.
But in Scientology, there is no Social Security, except maybe for public Scientologists. Those who have spent their prime working years on staff will have no SECURITY at the end and no RESPECT as they are no longer productive. The cult does not beleive in medical intervention, so all too many of them will succumb before their time to illnesses such as cardiac disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, depression, etc., conditions that they are led to believe that they brought on themselves.
As members in their prime years begin to age, their fate will be evident and hopefully deter younger members from following in their footsteps...to nowhere.

Haven't you forgotten that once you come back from an extended stay at Flag, you'll be so able as a thetan that you'll easily pull in a six figure income job and money will naver be a concern again?
So why are you putting money in a 401(k) anyway? Money invested on the Bridge will return 10x better than any wog investment scheme anyway!
Weren't other people givin this line a crap by Flag reg's?

Hi, Programmer Guy!
Do I have experience?
Well, I've never been a Scientologist, but I have relatives in the cult. Plus, I've done a lot of reading, studying and reflecting on the subject over the years. Mainly because I am part of the great unwashed, a disaffected SP, disconnected from said relatives.
This I know about Scientology. They have little use for government, although they never hesitate to use it to further their own ends, such as clogging up the courts with endless lawsuits, and invoking copyright law in order to canonize El Humbug's megalomaniacal drivel. Oh yeah, and to clamp down on the ever-present threat of freedom of speech. That too.
I would be greatly surprised if they sought to protect their staffers by sending in Social Security contributions. Anyone who has been a former staffer correct me if I am wrong. But, this, I also know, because I looked into it, they are exempt from ADA and EEOC regulations because they are considered a religion, hence they can discriminate against whoever they please - black, white, young, old, male, female, straight, gay, handicapped or not. Believe it or not - and Workmen's Comp? Child labor laws? Fair Labor Standards? Uncompensated overtime? I think they just manage to walk around these issues.
That's my spin on it, but there are many more on this board who, being former members have direct personal experience.
Regards,
Judy |

Hi guys,
I was looking at the list of Scientologist that have died and how they died. I saw a number of old friends and my favorite auditor ,Clare Reppen, a class x11 auditor. She was such a great and loving person. If anyone in the Sea Org cared at all about "People" they would take better care of their staff. I remember writing LRH in 1972 telling him "if you take care of your staff, you will keep them and if you don't, you won't. It's easy to see how much he listened to others. I remember when he had all policies cancelled that he did not personally write. Only he knew anything. I should have fucking walked right out the door when this happened. This set a new precedent. No one is worth anything but Hubbard. He cancelled a lot of hard work from all his aids including his daughter,Diana C.S. vi. and a whole lot of others. This is the day my friends that Ron became L. Ron Hitler. This is the work of a fanatic with black and white thinking. He just threw the baby out with the wash. If he was sane he would have said something like "All policies not written by me will be reviewed and any policy that is contridicting will be cancelled. It's all or none Baby! You are either a friend or a suppressive.
The days of Duality and Dichotmies are numbered my friends. The day duality dies will be the day Scientology dies. We won't have to do anything! We can just have one big Party!!!
Love ya, Sea Ogre |

It is ALL about the group and the individual gets submerged. Staff really get to become slaves to it. The "good" side of their nature is used against them. There is no balance in actual practice.

SEA ORG MEMBERS GETTTING FOOD FROM MEALS ON WHEELS
Lagniappe Oct 15, 11:29 am
Newsgroups: alt.religion.scientology
There are several Senior citizen Ex- SO members in the LA area who
were either fitness boarded or kicked out because they are no longer
capable of slaving for DM and are now barely making ends meet.
And they are being fed by Meals on Wheels a private non-profit
Organization, that has been meeting the nutritional needs of senior
citizens.
This wog group is doing for Ex-SO staff who have given their whole
life for Scientology, what David Miscavige and his little 'army' of
Volunteer Ministers are not; they just simply refuse to take
responsibility for their elderly.
The purpose of meals on Wheels is promote the dignity and
independence of the disabled, the elderly and other homebound persons
by delivering nutritious meals and coordinating needed services.
Not only that, once these poor ex-SO are booted out of the SO they are
treated like low life bums and they are no longer allowed in the
premises, like at CCI restaurant, or or to do courses at any of the
Orgs in LA, or to simply go to social gatherings.
This social contact is much needed as a senior citizen and in fact in
most societies the elder are respected and treated with love and
compassion.
While the Volunteer Ministers are helping strangers they are grossly
neglecting their own. If you think is just in LA, think again, what do
you think happens with the elderly at Flag when they get to old to
work?
They are sent far away from the publics eyes to Largo to medicare
financed senior citizen places where they are strictly forbidden to
talk about Scientology or to mention they were on staff, of course it
is all paid for by our hard earned tax dollars while DM and his
brethren are becoming richer and richer.
Dear OSA reader, this can happen to you, so don't forget to pay for
you SS retirement yourself, because your Org is not going to do it,
little Davey is taking all the money to Luxembourg.

No matter what you do in Scientology, no matter what great deeds you accomplish you will never compare with what Hubbard gave to you, this brief chance at freedom in all these billions of years. Therefore you will never be in exchange with Scientology. You contribution is insignificant. You cannot build up any excess of exchange. So when you can no longer contribute your out exchange just grows until the burden of keeping you on is a drain on resorces.
Be glad there are organizations out there who are clueless to your out-ethics and accept you as you are. |

Just when you thought the cult couldn't go any lower, read this about NEW ERA SENIORS INTERNATIONAL.
Tax deductable "help" for senior scientologists on how to tap in to public assistance programs, avoid psychs, drop the body and personal shopping assistance for finding a new body, just to name a few of the wonderful services available. You have to read this to believe it!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
From Mary on ars:
Where All The Old Scientologists Go For Help When They hit Their Twilight Years
This really disgusted me for the mere fact that the public
scientologists had to step in and try to help because the failures of
Scientology left elderly members with little to no planning or
finances. That goes for Public members, staff members and Sea Org
members. Here's a bit of what they have done over the years and when
their purposes are. Note the 'new body shopping' consultant blurb.
Scientology lunacy at it's best:

Two main kinds of activities:
1. helping individual seniors find solutions to particular
problems, through referrals to community resources, to
members of our barter group, and the like. There is a vast
array of community resources for seniors and we show you
how to tap into it.
2. setting up programs to help large numbers of seniors,
such as an assist-givers network by zip code, disseminating
information about legal rudiments for end-of-life issues,,
and eventually a complete retirement facility of our own.

Founder and Trustee NESI - Suesan Walker:
Suesan first conceived of the idea for NESI some years ago and it was
formed and registered as a public benefit, not-for-profit, tax-exempt
organization, originally under the name of "The Crepuscule" (meaning
the twilight or dusk). Although the name was loved by a few it was not
understood by the many and a survey resulted in the current very
popular name of New Era Seniors International (NESI), which has all
the same tax exempt qualifications.
As an owner and CEO, Suesan currently runs a consulting and grant-
writing business called
Et Cetera from her new home in Clearwater, Florida where she keeps a
guiding eye on NESI's progress, works with other local nonprofits and
serves on the B of Dir. for Clearwater Community Volunteers.
Prior to her move to Florida, Suesan has been the driving force for
obtaining grants for the Hollywood Education & Literacy Project Int.
in Hollywood and remains on their Board of Directors. Additionally she
is on the Advisory Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood and
continues to work with a number of nonprofits in California. Suesan is
also the Founder of the Glenn County Seniors Centers in North
California.
Of NESI, Suesan says, "Working with the Glenn County and as a Senior
Advocate, I ran into elder abuse both in and out of nursing homes as
well as seniors and their families trying to work through the maze of
government paperwork to get help with problems. After moving back to
Los Angeles I was approached numerous times to help with difficulties
that some of the senior members of our group were encountering and
decided that we really needed to tackle this area. I told a couple of
friends about the idea and they were right behind it and off we went.
NESI has stayed strong to the original vision and the expanded Board
of Directors is doing an incredible job of creating new programs and
expanding membership." [..]
]..] Founding members are welcomed to NESI and are listed here and all
future NESI NEWS newsletters will welcome our new members.

NESI members Scott and Karry Campbell are operating a three-person
care facility in Laguna Hills, Southern California. One of the persons
being well cared for there is Bud Suiter, the 90 year old father of
NESI member Ron Suiter. Under their excellent spiritual and
nutritional care at "Karry's Elder Care" Bud has made a wonderful
recovery back to health after being in a rather bad way.
The Board of Directors made a personal visit to this wonderful
facility and held a meeting to set the course for planning, obtaining,
opening and operating a much larger facility. Present at the meeting
were: NESI President, Barry Nelson Watson; Board Member and Executive
Director, Carolyn Holt; Board Member, Peggy Barnes; members, Ron

THE UN-RETIREMENT PEOPLE
INTRODUCING NEW ERA SENIORS Executive Director
CAROLYN HOLT
Carolyn was born in Flint Michigan as the daughter of a minister. She
went to college in PA and spent a year in Newark NJ as an apprentice/
helper in a foster care home for little girls. She went to graduate
school in New York City and spent two years working in St. Luke's
Hospital. She also worked in Beth Israel Hospital, and the East
Midtown Services for Older People.
She met many people who'd somehow lived through the Holocaust with
concentration camp numbers on their arms.
Carolyn has a Master's degree in Social Work, (individual casework as
opposed to group work or community organization). She has 17 years
paid experience in hospitals, medical clinics and senior multipurpose
service centers, both in California and in New York - and several
years unpaid experience recently.
Carolyn learned of our organization - which was then called The
Crepuscule (meaning twilight or dusk) and later renamed New Era
Seniors International - NESI, in the late '90's and later joined us to
add her considerable and valuable experience and expertise.
Carolyn shares the groups concerns that older Church Members who have
committed their lives to the Church (whether on staff or not), who
have not set aside for their older years, will have to scrape
ignominiously along on just Social Security, and will see no physical
universe reward for all the good they have done.
She shares our concern that older Church Members without proper health-
care- powers-of-attorney will have a physical or emotional crisis and
get sucked into the mental health care system and be mistreated and
damaged by psychiatry.
Carolyn wants to help ensure that older members do not give in to
physical deterioration, keep upbeat looking for things to do, and do
what they can do.
She knows exercise, keeping involved with others and having fun are
important.

EDEN LIVING FACILITIES FOR SENIORS
An initiative of New Era Seniors Inc (NESI)
When NESI was founded one of the primary purposes was to provide
graceful, affordable living for seniors. In order to make this dream
happen faster we are creating a for-profit arm for New Era Seniors
that will create these living facilitate.
In this manner we not only provide the facilities and services but
also create an opportunity for both large and small investors. NESI
would be a majority stock holder and funds would flow to NESI for
operation expenses and into a special trust for assistance with senior
living.
We are presently conducting feasibility studies and would appreciate
your taking the time to fill out and return the following survey. You
can email to me at suesan...@msn.com or mail to New Era Seniors, 1405
N. New Hampshire #207, Hollywood, CA 90027 [..]
( Read the survey, lol)
