Could be an attempted insurance scam...i.e. faked rear end
collision. Usually done in the exact way described in the
video...sudden unexpected pull in front of the intended
victim followed be quick braking. Dangerous game,

Alas, no license no. reported, no description of the other
vehicle, no description of the other driver (male or female,
white or black, "foreign looking" etc.)...did the other vehicle

Idea... Vidcam sitting on the dash and the running in car? - Make such incidents into YT vids and solid police reports every damned time.

Except that in such cases the perpertrator usually jumps from the car complaining loudly about the damage and/or injuries, not takes off down the nearest exit. I've been driving a fair while and I've seen some bad and dangerous driving, but *never* once anyone behaving like that. Ever.

I'm all for not taking things at face value, but I also believe in the "once is a co-incidence, twice it's a pattern, three times it's the cult of scientology fair gaming people" maxim. And personally if Tommy says he thinks it's OSA, I'm inclined to believe him.

Sounds like a good idea. I would hope that he gets the tag
number and vehicle desribtion if this ever happens again.

Maybe you should have a passenger have a camera ready in case of future incidents, sounds paranoid and over-precautionary.. however if you got the license plate and the incident on camera you have evidence to take legal action.
