Oh, perfect timing. I was just looking for this thread to post a major Operation Sea Arrrgh development -- for me personally. I just got out of going to the (sucky) Cal Poly graduation ceremonies tomorrow (all graduation ceremonies are sucky to me), which means I am free to go to the LA area protest. But alas, I have no matey to accompany me. Following the rules of engagement, I shant go alone.

So...

If there is anyone out there who is not a boring windbag who wouldn't mind some extra company tomorrow in LA, can you please PM me? I have a costume that looks more ninja tooth fairy than pirate, but it's the spirit, aye?

If I were a few thousand miles closer to ee I'd be taking you up on your offer. Ninja tooth fairies have been known to raid the high seas making it so lesser pirates to lower their flags and hide.

Spunds like the protest was a success! Not sure of the turnout, but there were some good keen anons in attendance flyering. and they had a banner too. Pics and hopefully some video will be up later, so check back!

They were graced by four scientolologists, including Mikey "I do have OT4 Superpowers!" Ferriss, head Scilon of CoS NZ. He lives in Auckland, but just happened to be in NZFG's fair city for Sea Arrggh. Maybe he found last raid in Auckland too hot to handle what with all the entheta (and video cameras!) of the Auckanons. I doubt he found Chch any pleasanter!

Some snippets:

*The raid was pretty good
*The police told the scilons to move on - sounds like they may have been bullbaiting, or just being nusances
*Some anons may have been followed by a guy when they left the protest
*NZ anons love you, brave and beautiful Cantabrianons!
