Oh gawd! Another Scio-believer!
Read my two posts about "taking responsibilty"
Umm, no. I'll leave that Scio believer stuff to you.
Why is it that Scios/ExScios think common every-day expressions like 'taking responsibility' somehow all derive from the old Fraud ???
Did it occur to you that, by writing his story, Jeff is taking responsibility, and using his experience to 1) warn otthers from getting into Co$ and 2) helping current members get out?
Good for Jeff in doing what he's doing, but his story is nonetheless all about Jeff, Jeff, Jeff and how much he suffered and what a wimp he was but nonethless how triumphant he was in pumping out false propaganda to get more people into the mind-fuck he was into. WTF ??
Will it help prevent getting people in ? Mmm, maybe but I doubt it.
Will it help getting people out ? NO. Those in won't be reading it, just as he never read anything similar.
It's a readable story, but as I said, same, same, same.
All the same, I find it rat arse rude for Chad to write such a thing. Not very compassionate at all, and actually missing the point of the cathartic writings.
Well, being accused of being 'rat-arse rude' doesn't faze me in the slightest.
As far as feeling compassion for Jeff - no, I don't.
As he said, he's doing well. Successful business, solid family support, couple of wives, couple of grand-kids. All's cool, eh ?
But for those other thousands of suckers he recruited who in most likelihood didn't fare anywhere near so well, and may now be broken or even dead - yeah, that's where I'll direct my compassion. If I may ?
