Hello members of OCMB. I am anon93752. I am better known as DeliciousCakeSF on Enturbulation.org. I am a mod there. For a very long time I have been reading about the events that have unfolded in the past few weeks about Tory Magoo. I find it all very unfortunate since the last time I saw her, she and I were having a great time with everyone in Washington DC.

However, for the purposes of full disclosure, I present to you the following links in order for you to be able to gather information to make up your own minds about all parties involved. Some of you have already read these links but it bears repeating.

In this thread, our admins and a number of our mods dug through thousands of posts and researched the post and change history of the postings that led to the first internet debacle ("the rape"). Then, the discussion got imported in real life in San Francisco got revealed ("Tommy Gorman and MPB"). Then, this thread led to the analysis of the nature of The Thunderdome and finally Tory Magoo's request to have her account removed.

I also have information that I've kept for a long time because I was afraid it would endanger members of Anonymous and everyone involved if revealed. But I also believe that it would endanger members of Anonymous and all parties if I kept it secret. I was probably one of only two people who were sober that night this occured:

In late May, Anonymous, Tory, and a few OG had a flash raid in Hollywood. Anonymous from ALL OVER CALIFORNIA came to this one. In the end, to celebrate our success and the movement, we were invited to the home of a generous Anonymous. Later that night, after a few drinks and stories, Tory wanted to build her list of contacts so she asked some Anonymous members FOR THEIR NAMES AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS. She wrote them down on a pad of paper. Granted some of us were inebriated and may not have been thinking straight but this action has resulted in information gathering that can seriously endanger all of us.

Tory, and for those who are passionate about this movement and the safety of your allies, I implore you--not as a mod for Enturb or an Anonymous but as a fellow activist who is standing next to you in this fight: PLEASE DESTROY THAT INFORMATION YOU COLLECTED THAT NIGHT WHETHER IT'S THAT PAD OR YOUR CELL/PHONE LOGS/COMPUTER (caps not to shout but to emphasize). Everyone, if you have any identifying information from Anonymous, please destroy them all. I am begging you to help keep your comrades in this fight safe so we can fight another day for as long as this fight needs to be fought.

Yup, post whatever you want. Everybody! Write for HOURS about yourself and how tough things are in your life. Tell us EVERY detail. Hell, make 'em up so we all get whipped into a frenzy at how one-sided it all is. But don't be surprised if people roll their eyes, turn their backs, and get back to the more meaningful stuff.

Or do you guys want to hear about the girl who was mean to me in high school and how I got back at her at the reunion, and the woman who cut me off at the gas station the other day and what I said (or didn't) to her...

It's all very high school-ish, and if TD really is a bunch of "mean kids" as they have been tagged by some, you'd think a 60-year-old would be able to just shrug it off and stay above the fray. But no, we're dealing with a 60-year-old who wanted to hang out with those supposed teens. WTF am I supposed to make of THAT?

It might be best if Tory returned to fighting Scientology rather than talking incessantly about herself and her battle against the Thunderdome. That would do far more to restore her "lost honor" than all the "I'm the most tortured person in the history of the world... Those mean people are in a wicked conspiracy against me, and it's LIES, ALL LIES. But don't pity ME. I'm HAPPY." posts, and the inevitable, "You sweet soul of goodness and light, don't let those bad people get to you!" posts that follow.

Frankly, although I am an empathetic person, I have begun to have increasing contempt for the inability to just leave it alone and go on with those she likes, trusts, and who believe her. These constant attempts to do "damage control" or whatever are just not helping anymore. Opinions have been formed, and now we have to work with what we have, go on from where we are.

Many, many are doing so. And if she were able to do so, and just ignore the occasional carping in TD about her, (where, yes, she has become a joke, and there's no undoing that) then we'd all be the better off for it, and the cult would be the worse for it. Stop giving jokesters ammo, and they'll run out of things to say. Easy as pie. There you go!

I apologize for my directness in this post. Usually I'm a bit more diplomatic. But this has worn thin.

We have reached a point at which no further posts from either side on the subject will advance mutual understanding. Let's not beat each other to death in the process of establishing right and wrong. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Can't stand Oprah these days, but this, I remember, from earlier days:

"DO YOU WANT TO BE RIGHT? OR DO YOU WANT PEACE?"
