are you all quite a bit obsessed with this subject?

That's a silly question. It's a little like asking people on a tropical fish forum if they're obsessed with tropical fish. Or asking fans on a comic forum if they're obsessed with comics. Or going to scientology.org and asking if they're obsessed with scamming people.

Well, not quite.
People in a Comic book forum like and collect comic books - and most do not even make the impression to be obsessed with them, because they also talk about TV shows, girls, dogs, what have you.
You guys don't like Scientology, but were smart enough in the end to get out of their machine - so why keep obsessing over it without at least once in a while having a laugh together about chicks or whatever?

I understand the wish in you to warn and educate others - but some of you seem extremely obsessed - no sense of humor left - stubbornly obsessed.
The way some of you behave is quite freaky to an outsider like me.

And I bet some guy will come in now saying that I must be a Scientologist, because I am trying to distract from it.

I think you'll find my sense of humourness' is in a league of its ownness.

I guess if I signed up to a forum where I didn't really belong, I'd find something to piss and moan about too. That's why I generally tend to stay away from forums that are mostly inhabited by people whose views I disagree with.

I see your point, but to turn this place into a discuss-all-subjects forum would dilute the original purpose of it.

If I want to joke or discuss other subjects, then 1 minute in Google would point me to an appropriate forum.

Funny, I haven't seen magoo reply to you once since you've been back. I have however seen you act like an idiot and then expect other people to treat you nicely.

Let me ask you this then. If I came into your house and acted like an asshole to you and your family would you just sit back and take it? But you expect the people here to just sit back and take it when you come in here and act like an asshole? Once again, I must ask since you seem not to be able to answer the question, you really aren't that bright are you JWL?

No, that's an honest question.
As honest a question as you asking me if I'm 'not that bright'...

And just to make you happy, I'll answer your question:
It is hard to answer such a question - as every other human being I have my weaknesses and strengths, am brighter in some areas and not so bright in other areas of interest and thought.

Magoo is in a class by herself.

I get the impression that she and Tommy Gorman don't really understand very much of what they read. So expecting an answer that requires comprehension and thought instead of a rote response is likely to result in disappointment.

I have noticed this in magoo's case about 2 years ago.
There's an old thread somewhere floating around, where she posts the same thing (a thing full of Scientology terms that I don't even understand) to me about 20 times - and I'm trying to talk to her.
It was pointless.
But hey, to each their own.

I just find things like that.... peculiar.
