At the 2008 24th IAS Anniversary, Tommy Davis was a prominent speaker. In the issue of Impact magazine (#119) that covered the event, there were only two photos of David Miscavige. Unlike past years when he posed with the big dollar donors, COB did not pose with the Platinum Stupidtorious' for photos . This was odd. You're supposed to get your photo taken with COB for coughing up all that money and theta-phlegm. DM is seen only in the photo I posted and in a group photo with Medal of Freedom winners. Now we hear that Tommy Davis hosted the New Year's Eve event. Given the bad PR in which DM is sinking, will he step out of the spotlight and become a Shadowman in 2009? Will Tommy Davis become the new head of Scientology, even if only as a figurehead in the style of Heber Jentzsch?

I think that is a very distinct possibility. Tommy Davis appears to be pliable like Play-Do. He can be molded and twisted into any shape like a Gumby toy. My sources tell me that Tom Cruise likes Tommy. The notion that Tom Cruise would take over Scientology was dispelled when Tom publicly grovelled in his 2008 charm offensive to get his movie star back. Tom Cruise wants to act; Hollywood is more fun than Hemet.

David Miscavige will be firmly ensconced in his own private and secure Bulgravia, while Corporate Scientology is taken over by the next power-hungry and power-smart dude.

And, of course, the most important part.

He will have set himself up with untold riches in off-shore numbered accounts all over the world.

No doubt he has been squirrling (pun intended) away personal cash for many years.


Less legal exposure and greater cash reserves as the years go by.


That is....if his EGO doesn't undo all his plans.

And that could easily happen.

Maybe David Miscavige is setting up Tommy Davis to be the next major fall guy -- the SP of the Church of Scientology upon whom Miscavige can blame all the poor stats and the attacks of 2008. Tommy is perfect for that role, because he flubbed badly in the BBC expose.

I'm still puzzling as to why Tommy Davis was sent in to MC for the big NYE event instead of his higher up, Karin Pouw? Doesn't Tommy Davis answer to Her Imperial Spin-ness in the big scheme of things?

And I wonder...with all the problems the Church is having (especially with the PR flap caused with the Second Chance episode), has Mr. Miscavige simply gone berserk from all the pressure? The terror midget missing the New Year's event is no small thing...undoubtedly even the public Scilons have noticed something wrong by now...?

I'm wondering, too, how DM feels about Tom Cruise's statement to the media (carried throughout the world) that he will no longer publicly promote the Church? Naturally, DM would have been happy if TC had kept this matter to himself. But, no. The fact that he mentioned it to the world...oh lawdy. Can TC and DM possibly remain BFF's after all this?

Probably because most of the audience would sit there wondering who on earth she is. Although she is often quoted in the press as a spokesperson for Scn, I can't remember her talking at any events in the past- and a YouTube search for "Karin Pouw" yields no results.

I am guessing that will happen this Saturday night. A more detailed report or even some video footage may help with figuring out what might be going down. (Pun intended.)
