On April 2, 2009 a lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of the State of California in Los Angeles.

In the suit attorney Barry Van Sickle represents Laura Ann DeCrescenzo against the Church of Scientology International and DOES 1-20. It is case number BC411018

Laura’s story can be found on WWP and elsewhere on the internet. IMHO it has already made many people cry and many others rage. This is a story of a little ten year old girl who became a young woman who was severely punished and abused on staff during those years, whose marriage was ruined and who was driven to the point of desperation by an uncaring cult who treated her no better than a slave. And while denying her her basic human rights outside the public’s view, that same disingenuous cult promotes its alleged support for human rights around the world so as to further develop its phony religious cloaking it uses to try to hide its abuses from public scrutiny.

This case includes many of the things covered in the Headleys’ cases and additionally covers other important matters.

See it focus on vital matters such as human trafficking, obstruction of justice by organized scientology, its illegal exit actions taken to intimidate and quiet people who want to leave staff and much more. It points out the vast difference between the benign staff-scientology that organized scientology wants the world to think exists and the real staff-scientology that exists to abuse children, destroy families, traffic in humanity and to deny the basic human rights that so many of us cherish.

Read the complaint. It doesn’t just point out abuse, it points out complete barbarism on the part of organized scientology and its treatment of employees.

It also states important arguments to help extend the time period where others can file for justice.

This is now a legal public record as will be much more that will follow with respect to this suit. I say use it in every way possible to help spread the truth and to thus help end these horrid abuses.

Excellent. An additional point:
CoS claims its Sea Org workers get room, board, and classes, but not "as compensation."

This is a highly DIRTY and revealing paragraph. The reason the room, board, and classes are not considered compensation is that CoS would have to declare them as income, and would have to pay its share of Social Security taxes on these items, which are considered "in-kind" in tax lingo. Furthermore, once these items showed up on the worker's paycheck the worker would have to pay income tax and the worker's share of Social Security on the in-kind items. With pitiful pocket money, the worker would not be able to pay the taxes!

Furthermore, if CoS considered the room, board and training as that week's income, that means that the worker EARNED them. Once the worker quit or was fired, there would be NO freeloader debt, since everything was already earned. Presently of course, the freeloader debt is unenforceable and illegal, but the worker doesn't know that. CoS scares the worker with freeloader debt threats, as a tool to keep the worker from quitting, so it is a doubly dirty trick on CoS's part.

Thanks for the lings pulps. Question. Is there anywhere one can view Laura's story in a more fleshed out form? Meaning, the current story has a tremendous amount of scilon speak of which public officials would have a hard time understanding. This has been a quandary for many of we wog critic,s!

There are so many abbreviated phrases and entities mentioned in some of these heart felt and factual stories, one needs a scilon dictionary to explain what many of the abbreviated phrases mean. If Laura is reading this, would it be possible to add in parentheses what some of this a abbreviation mean? Like when you say (FSO) or (SO) etc.

In doing so, you would be giving we wogs a great tool to hand out to both concerned citizens and public officials.

Thanks Larry. A lot of what is written by ex-scientologist , is a gold mine information wise. Yet for we public wog critic,s to time and again educate the general public and officials gets a little overwhelming. We understand the subject matter, yet when sharing that information, it can and does "Get lost in translation" sometimes.

On that note, hows the weather up there Larry? You live in my old home town. I may live in the south, yet my heart is still in Mass.

I always loved the springtime there. Brings back memories of going out to the cape and quahog diggin and bonfires on the beach.
