George, (I believe that's his name) the person who is supposedly "OT 8" in the video used the term "squirrel" incorrectly. Since then no one has come up with the meaning Hubbard gave it.

First off, this is a squirrel.

Cute, isn't it?

What Hubbard meant by a "squirrel" in scientology is someone who not only does not apply the "technology" of scientology correctly they alter it and/or make up their own techniques and call what they are doing scientology.

This is actually kind of laughable because whether it's done correctly according to Hubbard or not scientology never delivers the promised results.

The person George yelled at can not possibly be a "squirrel" per scientology's definitions as he was not even attempting to apply any techniques that were from scientology nor did he call what he was doing scientology.

I'm going to change the topic slightly now.

The way George behaved in that video is exactly the way "seniors" within the organization of scientology often treat their "juniors." The content may be different but the characteristics of his rant occur daily within the hallowed halls of scientology "orgs."

Some Things Are Better Left Private...
Posting videos of yourself, your friends or your family can be fun and exciting. You never know who will find it—it might even get featured on the front page, or end up as one of the Most Viewed videos! If your video is personal, consider marking it private so that only your friends and those you share it with can view it.

Protect Your Secret Identity!
If you do post public videos, make sure there isn't anything in them that could help a stranger figure out who you are or where you live. Personal information like your telephone number or home address should NEVER be shared with other users. Watch out for things like number plates on cars or images of the outside of your house which might accidentally appear in the background of a video and help a stranger to track you down.

Remember, YouTube employees will never ask you for your password, email address or other account information. Don't be fooled if someone contacts you pretending to be from YouTube!

Keep Your Cool, Keep YouTube Safe
Whether it's a flame war, cyber bullying or people just being mean, comments can get nasty sometimes. When you post a video you can choose whether you want to let people comment on your videos at all. If someone leaves a comment on your video that is rude or bothers you, you can always delete the comment. Alternatively, you can select the "comments with approval" option when you upload a video. This means that you get to approve or remove people's comments before they appear on the site.

YouTube doesn't allow videos with nudity, graphic violence or hate. If you come across a video like this, click the link on the video to flag it as inappropriate and submit the form on the next page to report it to YouTube.

YouTube has literally MILLIONS of viewers every day and just like in the real world, most of the people are good, but some aren't. So please take care to protect yourself and your fellow users by keeping personal videos private, your identity a secret, your comments clean and by using the flagging system to report abuse.

This is obviously another blatant attempt by the Church Of Scientology to suppress free speech and to stop criticism of them and their staff.

We have seen them countless times filming people in the street (e.g. John Sweeny from the BBC’s Panorama, Mark Bunker, Tory Christman etc) and here they go complaining that someone else has done it! The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

I don’t see anything in the YouTube rules that says that I cannot post a video taken in a public place, featuring another person.

Therefore I will not remove this video.

I shall write to YouTube and tell them this.

After reviewing these guidelines and the videos referred to and the associated info, I cannot see that I have posted anything that violates your guidelines.

Please be more specific as to what I have done wrong.

The video that I took was filmed in a public place. Therefore, it was entirely lawful for me to do so. I tried to maintain a reasonable distance between me and the subject, but as you can see from the video, he kept approaching me and in fact, puts his face very close to mine several times. Given this, I cannot see how he could complain that I have violated his privacy.

You say that you have received a privacy complaint from an individual. Who was this individual and what steps have you taken to ensure that this complaint actually came from that individual and not from some person with malicious intent?

My video featured verbal abuse directed at me by a member of staff of the Church of Scientology. I believe that I have a right to post this video and show how they behave towards those who dare to criticise them. Any foul and abusive language comes solely from this person and not from me.

If you can answer my questions, I will be happy to review the content of my videos again.

This is totally unreasonable behaviour and just serves the needs of organisations that wish to suppress free speech such as the ‘church’ of Scientology.
