Summer!

This old girl is 14-+ years old and on her last legs. We took her out two weeks ago. It took me 5-days to recover from picking her up… way too much weight but I wanted her in the water with me no matter what.

(We were doggie sitting, and I doubt I will ever see her again. We’ve known her the entire 14-years.)

Perfectly stated, Weiber. My sentiments exactly. My best to you and your wonderful friend, Paul.

For me it was happy, but I know all too well that even the most hard-assed guys with cry like babies when their dog is put down. I’m hoping Cliquote will pass away in her sleep… that would be the best ending ever. She’s not mine, but I’ve know her for all of her life. Like I said, for me it was a happy experience and a happy day. We were sitting for her for three-weeks this time. When she came to us, I noticed that she was more active and seemingly more “happy”, if such is the case for dogs. Personally, I believe dogs can be “happy”. Not like us in the sense that we experience happiness, but marked for good fortune. She had an open yard in which she could lie, the wind in her face when we were on the boat, and of course she got to swim.

She’s back home now, in a stuffy Chicago home with a courtyard… no lawn. So that part is sad. Her family is just waiting for the time she will no longer be able to function. Yet this is inevitable. We can’t cheat death, no matter how OT we are. Surgeries, lung cancer, bone cancer, ovarian cancer.

Anyway, we gave her the best experience we could, considering. Long walks, a few treats. She’s a really sweet girl and I was particularly glad to have her this time.

Coming along where it soon may be "Oh Crap".

It's been a long road with lots of things juggling in the air but with positive thoughts and visualizations of a positive future. That's easy to do, even when you are dying of cancer... it's the results matter though.

The result of your positive thinking... visualization. That's what matters... the end-result.

-=-=-=-=-

I've of course been visualizing a positive result... ending to my suffering with a revitalized life. Lots of surgery and lots of pills and lots of therapy.

I'd be dead if I relied upon scientiology.

I'm recovering... though very slow. Very slow... yet it is a recovery.

-=-=-=-

More to come. I'm getting that yearly impulse (I think) to write. Lots of things to consider, much to comment on.

Whenever I think about scientology, my past with it, it really pisses me off. The whole situation. So I try to focus on other things... work on other things. Then I get somewhat depressed over the sit' with my sister... etc.,...etc.

Winter is coming over here, and for us in the Midwest (the strong people) there's time in the house and time to think. I'm feeling a strong surge coming on... and unfortunately for some who have followed the thread... well, I have been accused (attacked) rather severely when going into "writing mode".

I'm trying my best to NOT think about this subject, and the more I do so the better I am off. Days, even weeks go by...and I am cool. Sometimes months.

This is MY policy... that which balances it all out. It works for me.

So many WONDERFUL people here on this board!!!!!

I'm in-and-out... as they say.

This winter I am going to pose some questions and try to confer over a dialogue. I really want to get back to the subject matter of this thread, with no holding back.

The issue is getting out and staying out... life without scientology think... and how this can benefit a person. How living life in a "normal" way can enhance a recovery.

Recovery.

Recovery.

Maybe this year and the next will stimulate more folks to dialouge... HERE... on this thread.

So for those majority folks who read here but do not post... give some thought to you circumstances, and how you might want to participate in a Winter discussion.

I'd really like this year (and soon to come the next) for discussion and dialogue on how best to get the hell out of this mess, how to best re-assimilate into a "normal" life.

-------

This thread is a unique place for such dialogue. It has been established and kept alive... and it wont die anytime soon. There is not another thread like it in the universe. This is the place to be.... that is... if you want to recover.

Get me???

IF YOU WANT TO RECOVER.

-------

So those of you who have been silent, but have read.... make a resolution to speak. To speak. Take your time... but make the time... and when the time is ready... SPEAK.

-----

I got shit to do and wont be back fort awhile. But when I DO return... I am going to be writing my ass off. Probably sometime after X-Mass

------

I am filled with so much love, it just so happens, there is more than enough to go around!

My very best heart-felt love to all.

Love,

Paul

Thanks a lot Gumby. I love those words...'take care'.

Sorry, haven't been around to much, but everyone and the subject is on my mind...but not in a negative way. I truly love the folks here, and think of everyone often.

I'm fitting in work with therapy, and have been under the gun lately, so I am focused on my present cabinetry and wood working issues with the house.

I'd love to post some pictures of my kitchen work... but want to wait till I am a bit further on in the project.

My heart-felt best to all!

Paul
