New book Blown for Good reveals details

A new book released today by author Marc Headley, Blown for Good, reveals details inside Scientology headquarters at the organization's "Gold Base", located near Hemet, California. Headley joined the organization at age seven when his mother became a member, and worked at Scientology's International Management Headquarters for several years before leaving in 2005.

Such a great book Marc! I read it in essentially one sitting. You know, years ago I came within a smidge of going "over the rainbow" myself. SO glad I didn't. The pressure to conform, the intimidation were all there in less virulent forms when I was in the s.o.

I was once held for a few minutes against my will by Randy Gomberg when I wanted to leaved the s.o. I asked him if he was kidnapping me. He let me go. Later, I found the F.O. written by hubbard that says any s.o. member wanting to leave has to be allowed to leave within 24 hours.That's about 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59.999 seconds too long, but better than what they do now. I bet most s.o. members don't even know this exists. I don't remember the number of it, but it was written shortly after a s.o. member committed suicide on the apollo. Warrior Mark probably knows the number.

And I remember the rpf's rpf living in the chainlink cage in the basement in pac.

For a time, before the FBI raid in 1977, the food on the epf was great! Whole milk, potatoes, meat (hamburger, steak, chicken) vegetables and desert. Breakfast was fruit and muesli cereal. I don't remember it being rice and beans hardly ever. (for the epf)

Anyway, the whole experience of scientology has been a soul rape. It's like date rape. You think you're safe, that it's a good thing, noble. That you won't be taken advantage of. And then your soul is shattered by the abuse and betrayal of it.

I am so proud and respectful of you and Claire standing up and helping to put an end to this sociopathic abuse. Thanks for telling your story.

Got my autographed copy from BFG Inc. I am so damned proud of Marc Headley for writing his book and of his lovely wife Claire for supporting him in every way. Marc and Claire have not only shown that something can be done about it, they have shown the peaceful, nonviolent way to address the abuses of Scientology and David Miscavige: Write a book!

Blown for Good: Behind the Iron Curtain of Scientology is the new seminal book on the subject of Scientology. Any Scientologist who wants to read a factual, unvarnished account of life in the Sea Org needs to read this book.

A surpise @ the "Tavern". In this pic, Chris is holding a copy of Dianetic's and a tape series, which the cine crew kindly gave me @ the time.

Page 98 of Marc Headleys book clarified something for me. I always wondered what the name of the building was within the Golden Era Productions base off Gilman Hot springs rd in Riverside county Ca . The S.O cine crew gave me a birthday party there. Building #16 in marc,s book is called the "Tavern". As marc states, it was done up in a knights of the round table motif.
