MARTY RATHBUN could learn something from Arron Saxton OZ is doing it right. I would highly recommend reading this transcript. Why on earth none of we here in the USA can get our government reps to step up to the plate is beyond me. God, i know many of us have tried.

This is great news! And yes Gumby, it is very frustrating that our own politicians here in America haven't taken this stance yet.

What I find really funny is what the Co$ will certainly make of a Senator Xenophon going after them! That's even closer than Nostradamus' "Hister" when it comes to name!!! Now they'll know that Xenu (oops, I mean Xeno) has escaped and is after them!!!!!

Just watched the videos of Mr. Xenophon's address start to finish. Tears of sadness for the victims described. Tears of joy for the courage this Senator shows in taking a stance against the abuses of the Church of Scientology.

Senator Nick Xenophon was e-mailed earlier this year, and informed that his stance against co$ was being reported on OCMB and other links, and that he was receiving a surge of support.
He was provided with links to OCMB and ESKMB, and a list of co$ fronts.
Others also were urged to contact him and plead for and assure the anonimity of people who speak out due to co$ fair game practices.

It looks like they have done this, and his reply to me indictated he was prepared to do this, and there would be more.

As I type this, Its all over the morning news here...on Channel 7 ... as a news item and on a "pull through" scrolling across the bottom of the screen And all before 2:00 pm stats day!

CO$ is saying/bleating that the allegations are from ex members who are unreliable ( cough cough)

To those who are speaking out, I salute you .. Well done. You will find that you are not alone.

Brave people.

Give Senator Xenophon your suppoort. Copy excerpts of his speech, and send it to representatives in your country.

PS Edit... no, I am not jumping on the bandwagon, my hat goes off to carmel, and the others who spoke out. They are the true heroes here. I am letting them know that there are others out there who have never been in co$ but who feel for them, and are standing behind them, and who are still doing things behind the scenes to bring co$ crimes out into the open.

I called the California senators' offices a while back, and they said that the senator doesn't do investigations. Senators pass legislation.

I will try again though.

The mood is set and the will is there. Even Prime Minister Rudd, in the Sydney Morning Herald and in The Australian, has acknowledged senator Xenophon's concerns, admittedly with a little guarded caution.
The important thing is that, before we wait for any sort of senate inquiry, the police are getting Xenophon's file on this and now they have to respond by law.

Major international news media response is almost non-existent so far. I've seen Gawker take on the Aussie sister site Dafamer's non too serious article but that's about it. When it rolls off the AP and Reuters feeds then we can probably expect a reasonable flood, unless a few major international outlets with local correspondents take it on first. Remember it is only big news to us and it doesn't involve Tom Cruise doing something stupid or John Travolta crying so propagation will not be instant.

In the meantime you can be sure that scientology is pre-emptively ranting and screaming at politicitians and news media around the world. That means David miscavige will be ranting and screaming at his subordinates. There will be lots of physical and mental slapping going on right now and more people will be leaving scientology, either due to the insane pressure from above or out of conscience due to the exposure to the actual allegations.

I watched Cyrus Brooks' responses this morning on both ABC Breakfast (ABC2) and The Morning Show (7), and he stammered, waffled and came across as a paranoid fool. Lots of babbling about "vested anti-religious elements", "religious freedom'', the 1983 High Court finding and a lot of phony-hurt crap about how they tried to "reach out" him.

In both interviews, Cyrus spoke over the phone, and only the Ch7 interview had a photo of him. Man, he looked like hell in it...

And now, our PM has declared that he shares "some" of Senator Xenophon's concerns, but wants to read the documentation first before proceeding:

Xenophen, if you're reading this, I commend you for going before your colleagues and speaking out. You're doing the right thing, not only for Scientology's victims, but also for people who might mistakenly plop down that rabbit hole.

Yes I listened to that (aired on ABC AM and ABC Radio Australia). The site link and MP3 download is in the media section. Awesome isn't it? Cyrus Brooks is imbued with a certain creepiness which frightens not just children but grown-ups and most wildlife. Will they ever learn that the "always attack" method is no longer effective especially when used in totally inappropriate situations? I mean comparing these victims with ex-spouses telling tales is, quite frankly, alarmingly dumb. It was dumb when they used the idea in the Freeedumb magazine in "defence" of the allegations from the St. Petersburg Times "Truth Rundown" series and it is even more dumb now. Sick.
