So, this turned out to be an incredibly dead event. There were all kinds of lights and IAS Banners on Big Blue and L Ron Hubbard way, but no people. Basically we saw a lot of people on a Scavenger Hunt (?!) going to the idle org to get flyers, and very few actual Scientologists. We played Christmas music and had fun anyway.

Great Shots, Susan! When Patricia teaches me how to upload them
here, I'll shoot mine on, also. For now, tomorrow, they'll be on Facebook.

It was a fun picket, in many ways. The "Scavenger hunt" I thought was a riot.
These cars would burn into LA Org Parking lot. The guards seemed to perk up,
like maybe someone is here?

Then they'd dash in, and out, with flyers in their hands. I asked one what was up?
That's when we learned, "Oh---we're just here for a scavenger hunt---we don't like
Scientology either--we just need some of their promotional stuff for the hunt".

I guess you've have to see it, and get how many cars zoomed in, and how ticked
off the guards were getting, once they realized this wasn't a "real cycle". But their
sign says "Everyone welcome"....and knowing them, they probably figure "any
promotion out is more we can count for our "stats"---(even if bogus).

Also, I sat down on a wall and this guard ordered me off. I explained to him my
ONLY terminal was "The IJC" per my SP declare, so please go get him". He wouldn't,
and kept telling me to get up. I kept asking him to do HIS job, and get this person who
was my "only terminal" (person I'm allowed to speak to). I finally got up--and no sooner
did I walk around the corner, than the cops showed up. What morons! Saturday night,
and they call to complain about me sitting on their stupid wall for a few minutes.

The cop said No---they weren't going to waste their time with that and drove off.
Great wasting of LA Tax Dollars, C of $/OSA!

We then dropped by the HGB, which was very dead. After picketing and talking
to a few public, we decided to head out to dinner which was very
fun! We all shared stories, and cheered being together. Also, Casper had lost us,
had called EACH ONE OF US with zero people answering, so we all took photos of our
phones, which we'll post, soon.
Oh, and one more thing that happened that wasn't good---Smurf parked on the street
of the HGB, up at the top,and when we returned from dinner, his car was being towed!

Thankfully, he caught it before they towed it, as it's money then, and money to get
it out--if they tow it somewhere. Still cost him a bunch. So beware of that street!
The sign clearly says, at the top of the street: "NO PARKING FROM 6PM-3AM."

Then Casper, Hombre, Lynn and I swung by Winter Wonderland.
There some girl was singing, sort of just someone who walked by, with a rather
bad voice. Her family were happy, clapped, and then they all left.

I was asking this guy there if he was a Scientologist? Yes.
Hombre asked if he could get a picture with him?
"Not with that mask on".
Hombre quickly said: "how about without the mask?"
and Casper shot it.

As always----had he just let it be, you wouldn't be reading about this now.
However, the guy went nuts, started yelling "Delete that!" And chasing
Casper. Last year while Picketing with Anonymous at the HGB, some Sea Org
person told me I couldn't film them. So I asked a policeman who was there.
He told me: "As long as someone is on a public sidewalk, which the person was
last year, and the guy was tonight, they're fair game---and people can photograph
them as they're out in the public".

We went home---chatted some more, and called it a night. Thanks to everyone who
was there! It's great to have Hombre back, also :alien:

Happy Sunday!

Nice photos, I'mglib. ~ A happy looking bunch of SP's.
At least Casper managed to get into a few of the pics in between getting lost.

OCMB's phone tech failed on the night.

Yup, it was a fun and very costly night to be sure. I have to be more observant of street signs. I turned out to be a $224.50 mistake. The City gets alot of its revenue from these shakedowns. The Tow Fee was $109.50 and just to have the guy release my car on sight was an additonal $115.00. Kudos to Tory for trying to get the tow guy to release the car to me without charge. It's been a big controversy in the City of LA that large swaths of street parking are blocked off to allow valet parking for the nightclubs in front of these places; it limits public parking options, but also pays off for the nightclubs that pays business taxes to the City.

I got home and looked at the card I found on a sidewalk on LRH Way that led PAC Security to later surround my car and try to prevent me from leaving, claiming I stole Scientology property. I told the guards I can't read small print without my reading glasses which I didn't have with me, but would read it when I got home. Apologies to the young guard I bumped into with my car, but you pulled it in by being a bully & trying to block me from leaving. I videotaped the postcard in question & put in the mail back to Bridge Publications this morning.

I have hilarious footage of Casper pulling the hair off a young woman.

Yeah we all had missed calls from Casper, and none of us heard it. Sorry, Bud.

Also, My Video. I can't believe I beat Smurf...but I guess he was pretty *busy* last night. Ouch.
