I hope that this is what we have all been waiting for. If so, I don't see how the Cult will survive it.

The report on this I was looking forward to was something like "after so many years of intensive investigation the FBI in cooperation with the ATF and the National Guard have raided V, W, X, Y and Z, seized truckloads of evidence and among others have arrested A, B, C, and D."

Now there's news of investigation but no news of any action that has been taken as a result of the investigation. I'm hopeful but I'm not counting any chickens here.

I heard that this particular announcement is slated for a later date. Big Sis had to handle the Super Bowl and now she has to take care of a few other things before the Great Big Raid.

I am pessimistic.. there have been too many times in the past where exes have spoken to the FBI, walked away excited, and nothing came of it. When Graham Berry met with the FBI and provided them boxes of evidence, he was rebuffed and told, in essence, that the FBI didn't have the manpower or $$ to pursue recourse against a cult that has alot of $$ and powerful attorneys at it's beck and call.

Often, the FBI will do cursory investigations, then put the matter on the back-burner. Hopefully, it's not the case this time.

Interesting point raised by lawyer, tikk, posting on wwp, regarding part of scientology's response which was read out during the msnbc Today Show interview with Lawrence Wright today....

We never did find out why, after it being made aware to them, why CAST LA still lists a scientology front group as one of their "Rescue & Restore Regional Coalition Partners".
With the news that there is an ongoing FBI investigation, I think some answers are in order, because, on the face of it, it looks rather incompetent to say the least.

* An FBI investigation into The Church of Scientology for human trafficking; human rights abuses; and physical abuse by David Miscavige.

* Child labor with 10 and 12 year old children working in Sea Org in slave labor conditions based upon billion year contracts. What kind of group enslaves children for .36 cents an hour with no medical benefits or even a formal education? Scientology is a Slave Labor-Money-Cult. Scientology publics should leave CoS based upon the fact that it uses slave labor. Wins in session are immoral and spiritually evil if they are based upon slave labor, particularly of children.

* David Miscavige beating his staff.

* The surreal world inside of the Cult of Scientology. The willful blindness of Scientology publics to the cruelty and human rights abuses inside of the Sea Org.

* Paul's admission of his own blindness when he was a member of CoS; this is a common event that happens until Scientologists have their own Truman Show and leave CoS.

* Tommy Davis calling Paul Haggis an apostate for telling the truth and speaking out.

* Tommy Davis and the Cult denying everything in a Stalinst fashion by calling it all lies. This refusal to confront its own Evil is what keeps CoS trapped in a self-destructive downward spiral.

Culture keeps getting the message that the Church of Scientology is a corrupt, evil Cult whose tax exempt religious status needs to be taken away for all of the right reasons!

BFG (Blown for Good) posted this today on WWP. (I agree that there's now PR or back peddling that's gonna fix it all this time. Abuses and crimes and the Crazy began escalating couple years ago, from all accounts of those who've left in that time frame. It's like a captain that shoots off flares every day, day after day. It strikes me that maybe there's a subliminal cry for help somewhere in all this).

"It has been a very busy last 2 years for the Scilons.

Why do you think they moved all manufacturing posts from Gold to Bridge?
Why do think they cancelled all freeloader bills?
Why do you think they started to let Sea Org members go visit their families?
Why do think they forced pregnant couples to leave the Sea Org and paid them huge amounts of money as severance pay and got them jobs and a place to live?

But, there are still potential security threats that still exist. These they cannot get to go away.
If ones of these people snap, it is all over. There are also people that could spill the beans on David Miscavige and his activities.

The Scilons have known the FBI has been watching them and the Scilons have been doing everything they can to backtrack and make any and all offenses go away.

The Scilons had to ease up so people do not run to the FBI.

As soon as they started easing up, people started leaving and finding out the truth. This in turn has led to more things being exposed.
This year will be very productive for those who wish to expose scilon abuses.

In the middle of this huge news day OCMB became unavailable for a brief period of time. I used the red phone to call OCMB NORAD for an update. No incoming hostiles over North American airspace were reported. Did something happen with OCMB CLO EU?

I was right in the middle of posting and brilliant post when the board went down, and now I can't remember what it was, sigh.

Also, I know that the FBI has been conducting this investigation since (at least) July 2009.
