I decided to bump this thread in view of new information that I recently received. This is information made me reconsider my position on this topic.
To make it clear from the start -- I still do not believe in existence of the Devil as a mythological creature with horns and hooves. But now I came to conclusion that some male Sea Org members use the fear of “telepathic contact with the Devil” to force Sea Org female members into unwanted sexual relations, which is tantamount to the rape.
This is the story of someone I know. Luckily, it did not end in rape, although it was a close call.
Cecilia was born into an upper middle-class Mexican family. When she became of age, her parents sent her to the USA. She got her BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from UCLA (University of California) in Los Angeles. When she completed the study, her student visa expired, and she no longer could stay in the USA. At that time Cecilia met a CoS recruiter who promised her the following: In exchange for doing a low-pay “managerial work” for Flag for a year they will obtain a work permit for her. Once she gets the permit, she could leave CoS and start looking for a job in her field. The scumbags promise such arrangement to other foreigners as well, but this is a lie.
Cecilia and I met each other at EPF. We became good friends from day one after a prolonged conversation during which we learned certain things about each other: Cecilia told me about her situation and “confessed” that she is not a Scientologist (she heard from our mutual friends that I considered writing KRs on fellow Scientologists as a childish affair not worthy of a grown-up like me); I told her that I was interested in Dianetics only and did not consider unverified OT stuff as a gateway to Salvation.
Cecilia left CoS after she discovered that she was lied to. She told me that she had no other choice but to go back to Mexico. I said that, most likely, I will be leaving Sea Org, too, which I did a week later. Cecilia knew that I was living in a residential building located near Big Blue, but I told her that I won’t be staying there for long. I gave her my mother’s NYC address. We agreed to exchange letters on regular basis, and kept our promise to each other.
Cecilia married an American citizen two years after her departure from Sea Org, and they moved to the USA. Currently she lives in Frisco with her family (she has two daughters) and often visits New York City where her employer company has a branch.
I met Cecilia 5 days ago on her trip to NYC. She run into the thread that I started at OCMB, A Demonic Scientology Legend. She did not know that my screen name is DLRH. She said, “The person who wrote this article knows the Scientology dark secret, but he laughs it off. He is so ignorant!”. I told her that the article’s author is me, and asked her to tell her story. She agreed.
Roughly at the same time when I met Cecilia I met Josh -- all three of us were slaving at EPF. Several girls told me that there was something dirty about Josh, they kept the distance from him. Perhaps, that was a female intuition because I did not have the same feeling about him. To me he was just son of a bitch who deserved to be kicked in the ass. The EPF staff work all week long except for the Sunday afternoon which is called “laundry time”, or something like that, when they are supposed to do -- guess what! -- the laundry. Without this liberty EPF would smell like an armpit. The laundry takes no more than couple of hours, and after that the EPFers can tend to their own needs. My need that day was to see the women taking off clothes.
Josh saw myself and two my EPF friends exiting Oasis late at night. Oasis was a strip club located on Sunset Blvd just a few blocks from Big Blue (nowadays Oasis is a strip club no more). Next morning we all were invited to the Ethics Officer’s office where he was waiting us along with Josh.
The Officer was a nice guy who was tired of his post (he blew three days later), and was in constant violation of several Hubbard polices -- he was supposed to have a one-on-one meetings with all of us. But he was cutting the corners because in his mind he was far away from Big Blue.
Josh gave a long speech accusing three of us of mortal sins, and demanding that we were sent to RPF or at least to DPF. He called us a “disgrace to Scientology”, and many other things. “What do you have to say for yourselves?”, the Ethics Officer asked us. Being an Ethiopian and a Mexican, my friends felt very uncomfortable going against an angry white American, Josh, so they said nothing. Then it was my turn. I laid everything on the table by calling Josh a “retard”, “motherfucker”, etc. I ended my tirade by saying that Josh’s parents were a hooker and a pimp who conceived him when they were drunk.
Josh was clearly astonished by my response. “Did you have sex with the dancers?”, the Ethics Officer asked me. “No, this is against the club rules”, I said. “I know what you’re talking about”, he said. Certainly, it looked like he had visited the same establishment more than once. “Go back to your work stations, I will decide later what to do with you”, said the Officer.
The new Ethics Officer did not have a discussion regarding our despicable behavior with us. I suspect that his predecessor did not bother himself to put our case in writing.
Cecilia was a pretty girl; Josh had a crush on her, but she rejected his advances. Then came revenge in the form of “evil voices” demanding sex/marriage with Josh. As I said before, such voices are usually accompanied by a terrible headache, general weakness and nausea.
I wish Cecilia had asked me for help; that would have been the end of Josh. But she was afraid for my wellbeing because she thought that Josh would do terrible harm to me.
Cecilia was all alone, she did not know what to do. She though that if she runs away, a supernatural being, demonic Josh, would find her and kill her, as he promised her he would do in event she “tries to escape her fate”. In a moment of despair she turned to another female Sea Org member for advice.
Cecilia thought that Peggy would tell her that she’s crazy and needs medical attention. But Peggy said, “There is a simple way to solve your problem - start flirting with the guys. The demons do not like sluts, they look for decent girls only”. “How would you know it will work?”, said Cecilia. “Worked for me, and many others. I know just one case when this strategy failed”, said Peggy.
It worked for Cecilia -- Josh backed off when he “realized” that she is a “Mexican whore“.
I hope that female CoS members are reading this article. The things that almost happened to Cecilia could happen to you -- you are in constant danger of being raped. You may not believe in the Devil or demonic hallucinations at the moment, but your personal beliefs will not save you from the evils of Scientology.
Whether this is a hallucination or a real encounter with the Devil is unimportant; the end is the same in both cases, which is the rape.
