In the video the term "psychopath" is used. This is a psychiatric term. Is $cientology endorsing psychiatry by using a psychiatric term or are they using it as a "button." In either case whoever was involved in putting this video together should get a handle on understanding the word. Looking it up in the dictionary is not enough. They need to read at least one of the books on it.

The Sociopath Next Door is a good book on the subject.

Actually, the makers should also really make an effort to understand what is meant by "cult" in the sense that most participants on this message board use it. Again they need to read a book, not just look it up in the dictionary.

For the $cientology organization to spend the time, low wage labor and money on this video indicates that the management (youknowwho) sees Marty and company as a very serious threat.

This ain't for the general public. It's for folks still in Scn. I'm guessing that they're realizing that Scn public and staff aren't staying off the 'net anymore, and that this is an attempt to "handle" that situation. We (critics) think of course that it's over-the-top ridiculous; Someone new to the scene would find it curious at the very least, and likely distrust it. In the past, a Scn public/staff would take it at face value, but recently, and certainly since the Debbie Cook bombshell, I'm guessing it ain't gonna fly.

These videos, from both sides, nicely demonstrate Hubbard's legacy. He left behind nothing of spiritual value. Neither side has enough spiritual wisdom to rise above the other. Good to see Marty lashing out. All that crap about "the great middle path." Just a bunch of words.

What kind of "religion" makes a mudslinging, political-style video? It is a group that it is totally dependent on the machinations of man, one completely devoid of spirituality.

The real issue is the cult is putting forth more proof they would put a bunch of production value into a YouTube video in an attempt to discredit these guys showing once again FairGame is alive and well, and the Cult will relentlessly character assassinate anyone who publicly attempts to expose the Cult's crimes.

The general impression one gets after seeing these kind of DA videos is: "And this is is supposed to be a church of a 'religion'?! wtf?".

These videos make it obvious that this cult is deficient in many areas including but not limited to spirituality, ethics, and understanding.

You're incorrect. OSA knows that anyone in the public arena that hears of, or reads about Marty Rathbun in various news articles, will Google search his name and find links to John Allender's blog where the video can be found, or be linked to the YouTube video that the public can access freely. If it was to be an eyes-only video, it would have been designated as private.

You have to remember that OSA does not always pull pranks in the open. Much of what they do is covert, and in the age of mass media & the Internet, they've learned to adapt & pull shit under the wire.. instead of mass marketing their stupid videos, they place them on individual's blogs, which leaves the public (ignorant of the crap Scientology/OSA plays & has played in the past) believing that the video is not a cult-driven attempt to slime Marty, but one of concerned citizens.

It also plays into the hands of "The YouTube Team". If Marty files a complaint that the video violates their TOS by defaming him, the cult can always claim it was not aired for public consumption, but was "unlisted" for a reason.

If this video was truly intended to be private, and for Scilon-eyes only, it would not have been made available on public blogs, nor would you have been able to access it directly on YT. Chalk it up to OSA's being clever..

Aren't the links on the first page of a Google search attributed to the number of hits on that website? If so, then alot of critics and Scilons are accessing the blog.

The point that resonates with me that others have said here is the What Kind of Religion Does This? assessment.

It really is not only a proof of Fair Game, but the answer to the question that a lot of protestors are asked which is, "What makes Scientology worse than other religions?"
