I first met Lisa Bartley at the Gold Base protest in March 2011. She interviewed me in front of the castle when I was pregnant.

She told me she was an investigative producer for the Los Angeles affiiliate of ABC News (ABC-7) that's based in Burbank.
https://whyweprotest.net/community/thre ... 830/page-3 When the protest ended, and we all went to a restaurant in Hemet to celebrate, Lisa stayed behind. There were photos posted on WWP of her being filmed by Bart Parr (Squirrel Buster) and another Sea Org guy after we had left.
I've had a number of email exchanges & telephone calls with Lisa in 2011 & provided her dox, photos, and gave her permission to use my YT videos for her project. "British mum" pm'd me on Facebook about being her being interviewed by Lisa regarding her daughter, Mandy. I provided Lisa more dox pertinent to that. I was informed at the time, I believe in June 2011, that ABC-7 was going to air an expose in about "2 months". That did not occur.
I saw Lisa again at Janet Reitman's event at the CFI. Glib can speak to that because after the event, they drove to Big Blue together where they encountered a young European woman they believed to be on the RPF.
I've been asked by a number of ex-Scilons whether she could be a mole for the cult. I don't know, but I doubt she is. Maybe she's a very thorough investigator, and is not quick to air a flimsy expose. I've been interviewed by local media folks in the past and nothing ever came of it. Unlike Mark Bunker (who also attended the March 2011 protest & may know Lisa; you can ask him), Lisa hasn't shared tidbits of what's to come in her expose.. if, in fact, one ever airs.
Remember, Lisa answers to ABC; perhaps, the network & it's legal department are requiring certain things from her before they air an expose. Lisa did receive an award in December 2011 for her journalistic endeavors:
Distinguished Journalist Award Winners - TelevisionLisa Bartley is an investigative producer at ABC7, Eyewitness News. She’s a graduate of UCLA and has been with ABC7 since 2000. Bartley began her first paid job in journalism at KCAL. From there she started line producing on the overnight shift at KESQ, after which she landed at KNTV in Las Vegas. At ABC7, Bartley has been a writer, field producer, line producer, she learned to shoot and edit, and has even been on air.
Most meaningful to her has been her investigative work on a series about the MTA that looked at the disparities and treatment of disabled people who depend on the MTA to get around. That series resulted in the Board of Supervisors ordering a full-scaled review of the agency and a Department of Justice investigation looking into ADA violations. Bartley’s ongoing series on serial plaintiffs has also had an impact. A California state senator who is fighting to get legislation passed that would cut down on frivolous lawsuits is using her stories.
Bartley has also worked as a field producer during the trials of Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson. She received an Emmy nomination for investigative reporting in the MTA series and a Genesis award for a piece on greyhounds who were rescued from racetracks.
