Dear Smurf,

You leveled an obvious mean-spirited insult at me, then you altered reality by using the euphemism “observation and opinion”.
LOL. Posting long-winded paragraphs of hyperbole and endlessly playing the victim speaks volumes about you, Dorothy. You need therapy and a new hobby. Just saying...

Smurf whatever it was that the scilons did to you to turn you into such a mean-spirited person, I dk.
Maybe they kept telling you that you needed sec checks or something. All I can say is it doesn't sound like you've ever had any real help with that.

I'm well aware that one needs to grow a thick skin in order to participate on a mb such as this one. And I have developed crocodile skin over the years. You might think your repetitive process of telling me I need therapy is going to get a rise out of me, but it won't. It only cheapens your own image here. You might want to think about how you appear to others. But I am also aware that people such as yourself and RP probably aren't so mean spirited, angry, hostile and flaming IRL, to the faces of the people they protest with just because someone disagrees with them.

So punch away, Fiona. Your behavior only hurts you, not me.

That said, I refuse to become desensitized to such bad behavior. I cannot let it bother me, but were I to become completely desensitized and completely ignore your mean-spirited comments as if they never happened, I might begin to ignore it when it happens to others too, or even IRL. So I speak up about it. It's obvious how much that bothers you. But I will not stop. The cult taught me not to speak up about such things. I will not allow you to teach me the same abhorrent lesson.

I know EXACTLY what you mean.

I hope you will continue to post here and try to ignore the dumbing-down that inevitably occurs. It's posters who think like you who can raise the level of discussion.

There was until a mod obliterated the OP. It's no wonder some longtime critics no longer post here.

LOL. Cry me a river <whine>.

It's your thread that you and Radio Paul turned to a baw-fest about how your freedom of speech was so horribly damaged.

I'm still waiting for you to answer my question about what it was you wanted to discuss about the scilon's family members, or what was the point that was so important, that DC prevented you from speeching about.

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

BTW I need to know where you buy those cute shirts you wear. Can I post a pic of your sister or a niece or nephew so we can all I.D. them and get to the source of those shirts?

This could be really important information in the fight against scientology, one day.

I remember Mark. He was in the SO in LA (the "big blue") the same time I was and left at the very same time. I recently created a facebook page and Mark Miglio was one of the few people I wanted to locate who I knew in the SO. I found his facebook page, and 2 things were certain, 1) this was definitely the Mark Miglio I was looking for, and 2) he was definitely still a $cientologist, which means no "comm" with him. He left voluntarily as I did in June '96. He was bound for NY to live with and work for his parents (which I assume had money). He invited me to go to NY with him and I turned that down. I haven't seen or heard from him since.

I wanted to stop posting here but, damnit, this Mark Miglio thing got me. Do you have any data on what led to his being offloaded by DM at Int? According to a former Int Base staffer (who wrote a book about experiences there), Mark was caught dabbling in the occult, or reading books on it & talking about it?.. which was a big no-no at Int.

I only knew Mark at PAC Base, and I am interested in the book and when this happened. I remember sitting on the curb outside of the security office at the "big blue", while we were waiting for them to bring us our staff dismissals, talking to Mark. He was telling me about the occult and Hubbard's involvement in it, and something about getting in trouble for talking about it, etc. Sorry if I don't remember any details, but I wasn't really interested at the time, and have slept many times since then. We were leaving, so we were comfortable talking about things that could have landed us in the RPF. I understood that Mark wanted to leave due to stress/"overload"-related reasons, as I did. But this was PAC Base 1996. Apparently, Mark has continued to be a $cientologist since then, and could have been at Int (and gotten in trouble there) at a later date.

Amy Scobee said something about it. Her husband, Mat Pesch, commented further on it in response to one of Tony O's articles.

"In the early 80's I was the Security Chief at Scientology's international base in Hemet, CA. At that time I routed Mark Miglio off the base and out of the Sea Org for "devil worship" and other out-nesses. I'd go into more detail but I'll give Mark a break."
