Salon.com: Bornstein's "My Scientology Ex-communication"

Postby Don Carlo » Sun May 06, 2012 3:25 pm

Excerpt from A Queer and Present Danger , by author Kate Bornstein, formerly top Sea Org exec Albert Bornstein.
Salon.com is a well-respected site and rarely mentions Scientology, so this is good publicity for Kate and critics.
Louanne is defending CoS in the comment section.

In a new interview, Kate points out the injustice of Tom being allowed to see Suri, while many like her never get to see their families still in Scientology. http://www.windycitymediagroup.com/lgbt ... 38856.html

Kate Bornstein is a fascinating woman. I attended her one woman show a few years ago on a university campus and was enthralled by her storytelling ability. I still have the "get out of hell free" card she handed out to the audience. I read it every day on my bathroom mirror. She only touched on her time in Scientology while most of her presentation revolved around her journey as a transgendered woman, a compelling story in itself.

Thank you for the Salon.com link, and I must get her new book!
