Jeff Stone has been quieter lately about schemes to benefit Gold Base. He's sick of squirming as witnesses make him look like CoS's puppet, paid with votes and "contributions" from Gold Base workers.

Mary Bono Mack was critical of CoS's pressure on her deceased husband Sonny Bono, and I haven't heard her support any Scientology lately.

Mary was never that supportive of the cult. She was the supportive wife of Sonny Bono, the clueless Scilon. When he died, she filed a complaint with the FBI of harassment by Mike Rinder and the cult, which ended the cult's relationship with everything Bono.

Mary is a Republican that has often broken rank & voted for gay rights causes & has been very supportive of the HIV community. She maintains a home in Palm Springs, which allows her to run for office in that district, but she lives fulltime in Florida with her 3rd husband, Congressman Connie Mack.

On Monday night, I attended a reception honoring Chaz Bono, who is one of the Grand Marshals for this year's LA Gay Pride Week parade (this Sunday). Mary & her husband were there, as was Cher and her son (Chaz' brother), Elijah Blue Allman.
