To the village idiot,
... I think someone have been messing with your identity!

Life is not a videogame and you do not get an other coin! Life is not about roleplaying either.

If you belive that you do, what are your motives for doing something good, and what are my motive for not zapping you out of my life? (I guess that would be a learning experience for me and my karma!)

I am sorry but you do not get a 2nd chance so make the best of it!

And btw what would be the motive for anyone to 'doctor' a film by Sai Baba?

If you say that life is not a video game then prove your assertion otherwise don't tell me I am wrong.
Each life span is a particular class. You may learn to be a father in one lifetime, a cripple in another, rich in one lifetime, a musician in anther, yadda yadda, blah blah, and etc. You will return more than one time until you accomplish your particular desire. After you succeed in one thing then you will try something else until you get that correct. The same as when you play a video game. You try over and over until you get it right. How do you suppose karma works? It is so simple that once you see it you will know it is so.

Their are 3 parts to each and every person. Body, mind and soul. The soul is recording every thing the mind and body do. The soul is always aware. If the mind and body do something that is not ethical then the soul sets up a correction or punishment if you like. The soul is always righteous. It corrects the body and mind. Unfortunately, the corrections carry forward from
lifetime to lifetime until the soul feels the correction or lesson is learned.

Actually, you get millions of chances so make the best of each one so you don't have to redo the same lesson over and over.

I don't know what the motive for doctoring a film would be. Motives are endless. I read the item about the swedish boy who claims sai baba
had sexual contact with him. First, he says that sai baba saved his life while he was in the process of attempting suicide. He became a follower of sai baba for many years then turned on sai baba and is making accusations on the internet about sai baba. Using the scios tech, sai baba brought the guy upscale from death or wanting death to fighting and attacking sai baba.
The swedish boy went from death to fighting or antagonism and hate.

Their are trillions of potential motives for anything.

Their is a book called "remote viewing" or "remote viewers" by a person by the name of Schnable. It talks about people that the government used to spy psychicly on other countries.

One way to prove to yourself that you live again is to put a gun to your head, pull the trigger and observe what happens. Let me know your conclusions.

I know a person who used to look at me the way he would observe a maggot when I talked about out of body experiences. 15 years later he came to visit me and he wanted to tell me about his experience. He said he had a heart attack and that he was floating around on the ceiling watching the doctors operate on his body and at the same time he was accross the street in a fast food place smelling and feeling a hamburger.

Needless to say, he now believes that he is a soul.

Incidentally, its okay if someone steals my identity.

One way to prove to MY SELF that you live again is to put a gun to your head, pull the trigger and observe what happens.

THEN
You can let me know your conclusions... :)

I'm not one to tell you what to belive in, all I'm saying is that you sound as if you are without a personal identity - if you are here to learn more please read more about reincarnation and let me know your conclusions.

I belive that I understand how karma is supposed to work, but I fear that the world that you "chose" to be born into is not designed in that way.

Also I see no obvious connections between reincarnation, Sai Baba, remote viewing and "floating around on the ceiling" - in fact I belive your mind mix up various observations in a simple explanation that supports your belief in reincarnation (or non-identity).

Always look for simple explanations say "floating around on the ceiling" may be caused by the mind trying to make sense of the body reaction to a near death experience.

Anon, I'm not a lawyer, but I think the first step is to define the class of injured people seeking redress. How would you, in your opinion, define it?

I have some ideas but I'm not sure if posting them would be a good idea. Someone outside a public message board ought to organize such a thing if it's seen as a good idea; unfortunately the public nature of bulletin boards precludes keeping your legal affairs secret.

Scientology pays competent (though corrupt) lawyers to try to find out secrets about us already, in order to implement Fair Game. I would be uncomfortable with organizing a legal effort against them in a public forum that they could access.

Just my two cents worth... I say go for it if you think you have a good enough strategy in mind and enough money to back the attempt, but stay realistic.

peace... speedwell

Without OT powers there would be no Scientology. That is what it is all about in the end. If OT powers exist then Scientology is not a fraud or scam. If they don't exist then Ron is just another asshole. By the way, Scientology is of course a ripoff.

Once upon a time there was a book from the early Sixties that claimed that UFO's existed. The author said it was true because the Venusians took him in their spacecraft for a ride to the moon. Just so there is no confusion, I am talking about the Earth's moon. There were even photos of the moon that the author took. They were fuzzy and in black and white and showed the moon with cities and buildings and such. Somebody bought these books and somebody made money from writing them. Money for nothing and your chicks for free I guess. Then NASA sent a real craft to the moon and we all know what happened there.
Sooner or later every fraud is going to be exposed.

I guess the reason all the critics of Scientology say the same things over and over again is because
there are only so many ways you can tell the truth about something. At least something as rotten as Iron Hubbhard's scam that is.

Stay out of Scientology

Sometimes coincidences happen which could be interpreted in the OT category.

One morning I was going out of the students accommodation where I lived and passed the row of telephones in the lobby.

I had the urge to phone my mother. Now I only ever got in contact with my mother when I needed money or I was in trouble.

This was not the case on that day. So I really don't know why I wanted to talk to her. I had no real reason other than I wanted to.

I went out the main door but after about 8 or nine steps I turned around and phoned. The phone rang through to the engaged tone without my mother picking up. I hung up and rang again. This time she picked up the phone after two rings and I said "Hi" and she said "Just a second" and put the phone down.

When she got back on the phone again she told me that she had been starting to collect wood and coal for the range stove tht we had (still have) when she heard me call originally. That was why she couldn't pick up the first time that I called.

The reason for her saying "Just a second" was that she had heard a noise. She went to investigate the noise and foound that the entire wall had collapsed where she had been standing.

The wall was about 30 feet high

I saw it, and still see it, as a coincidence, but till the day of her death my mother thought that it was some kind of supernatural thing. It bugged the hell out of me when she used to tell other people about it.

Now if the same thing had happened to a Scientologist or anybody else from the looney fringe it would have been plastered all over their websites as "proof" that OT powers exist.

BTW as far as the out of body experieences go. When I was 15 I had my skull broken by three guys determined to ruin my day. I dragged my way home (about a 100 yards) but I don't remember much about that, it's just a blurr. I can only tell you my mothers account. According to her I was banging on the door and when she opened I was standing there covered in blood.

I fell forward and she managed to slow my fall. She then grabbed me under the arms and dragged me to the car. She drove me to the hospital and 10 minutes after we arrived there my heart stopped beating (so I was technically physically dead).

I was told this by one of the doctors after I woke out of coma (just over two days later)

The doctors got my heart beating again and I lived. At no time did I have anything like an out of body experience. So as far as I am concerned the whole OOBE is just bullshit.

The problem with using coincidences as proof is that when they don't happen (which is most of the time), it is not accepted as disproving OT powers.

So when a wall DOES fall on an OT (or the OT gets cancer, is in a car wreck, etc), does that prove OT powers DO NOT exist?

Hi Mike,

>> The problem with using coincidences as proof is
>> that when they don't happen (which is most of the
>> time), it is not accepted as disproving OT powers.

Thing is that coincidences are happening all the time - only not to the same person but to different people everywhere.

What cheesed me off most about the entire thing, was the spin that my mother would put on the incident when talking to someone else.

She would always put a metaphysical slant on it. Like, "He felt that something was wrong so he had to phone me".

Thing is that I know what I was thinking and feeling at the time. I had no feeling of impending doom or anything like it. I just passed the phones, and looking at them reminded me that I had not talked to my mother in a long time.

One thing that I must say to make it clear why I phoned on that particular day. I am a chronic "just-in-timer". I never arrive early for anything. That morning I had plenty of time because I did not have any particular appointments to keep. So I had no reason not to phone my mother i.e be in a hurry to be somewhere.

Whenever I have heard about so-called unexplained phenomena, it is nearly always somebody's account of what they heard from, or read about, someone else.

Whenever I have talked to someone who proportedly had some kind of "unexplained phenomena" happen to them, I can easily catch them out in the lie.

They know the story off by heart, but when I ask them about what they were doing that day or details about something not directly associated with the story then they usually cannot give me any.

Now when something that unusual happens (a wall of your home collapsing), then the other bits and pieces around it tend to stick in memory as well (I KNOW that this is true in my case). I know that I went out because I was getting bogged down with a programm that I was writing in Borland Turbo Pascal version 3.02 for instance.

I know that when my mother told me about the wall having just collapsed I was thinking "Shit, I hope the insurance will pay up for it".

I know that I felt pretty pissed off at having to go home and help clear up the debris but good because nothing had happened to my mother. It was also a nice day weather wise, not too hot.

I didn't talk about it to anyone at the Mensa where I had coffee and a cream cake with icing sugar on the top. I talked to Mario and Petz about their projects and mine.

That was the point that I was trying to make. Not that the coincidence was proof of anything.

Pam:

I put a post in, "Is thetan exterior a real phenomenon", that explains my point of view on why, perhapse, some people are more likely to have these kind of things than others.

Probably if a Scientologist came up to me, then he/she would end up being my customer and not the other way around.

This happened with a Jahovah's Witness that came ot my door one time. He ended up as my customer for over five years.

I was often at his house (where he had his buisiness) and we had a standing rule. I get his computer running, upgraded, updated. He keeps his mouth shut about his religion.

It is wierd though how I seem to see what is wrong with a server when others don't. Even when I get the thing fixed, and explain to others what was wrong, and what I did to fix it then they say "Yes, but how did you know?".
