The Diskeeper Company - Burbank's Scientology Headquarters

Post by anonymous4 » Thu Oct 20, 2005 6:33 pm

I got a job at The Diskeeper Corporation in Burbank, California and it didn't even take a full day for me to realize how freaky these people are. (This is the company who's renowned for their defragmentation software)

First, 95% of the company's employees are scientologists (as admitted by the gentlemen in the HR Department). Every executive is a scientologist. When you walk into the building and go upstairs, where the lobby is, you see books and books by L. Ron Hubbard.

In their mission statement, the "church" of scientology is mentioned several times. They have their mission statement up in their lobby but it's no where to be found on their website or corporate website.

Many of the employees are very young; around 19 or 20 years old high school drops outs; no education, no nothing...

After I agreed to take this job as a software specialist, they forced me to take these classes which would get me "placed" into my position. I basically had to sit there from 4pm to 8:30pm EVERYDAY reading L. Ron Hubbard's crap. This was to go on for 3 months before I could be considered "placed".

I would rather use Microsoft's junky Defrag engine than to give any money to those freaks!

Well keep the idea in mind that they will want you to keep taking courses there if you continue to work there.

Becareful about what you say. They have alot of person information about you being your employer.

I would love to see their mission statement. Is it written down anywhere or could you get a photograph of it?

Keep notes about what you are doing each day. Especally the time you spend on LRH works. If they try to fire you later you will be able to counter any excusse they can come up with.

Best of luck.

I wonder if any of the individuals from this company helped create
the NET NANNY software?

I am fairly certain that the disk defrag utility that comes with Windows 2000 and Windows XP is a stripped down version of Diskeeper that Microsoft bought from the company...

This is from the company website. Now that I know this, I will actively seek to keep my company from ever doing business with these weirdos.

Craig Jensens son was in the Sea Org, and was on the RPF at Flag before he routed out. He went to work for his dad, married and had a baby. Alot of SO were really upset when he came back as a public with his money and beautiful family.

I imagine he is an OT exec by now. I can't remember his first name though.

Did they pay you to read that stuff?

Heh @ getting paid to read LRH books.

Yeah, this LRH stuff, it's great... I'll need a FEW more hours to really read through these books, I'm a slow reader you know...

Craig Jensen's son is named David, and he is a twerp. I'll bet the SO was upset we he came back as a public, he was an Ethics bully for a while and terrorized a bunch of SO members, including myself.

Anonymous4, you are better off at any other company than that one, believe me! Good luck :)
