Hello Just wanted to tell you my story that happened yesterday on walking to my car on Los Feliz Blvd. I was a total innocent lamb when I was verbally attacked by three people. I replied just because you have tax exempt doesn't make it a real church and the McDonald's franchise is older. Then he got really mad and said that I had no idea what I was talking about and I said I am well aware and schooled on this cult. Then Jenna started to pipe in and asked me What Crimes I had Committed? I said I have not committed any crimes. She stared at me like a zombie and said the same thing. What crimes have I committed and then said have you Raped a baby? And I looked at her and said what? She repeated. Did you Rape a baby? I shook my head and then she said you Raped a baby! I was totally blown away meanwhile her husband was screaming at me and kept on saying that the reason I was saying this was because I was a homosexual (gee how did he know) to which I said what does that have anything to do with anything if I was gay or not? I kept on asking him about Xenu and he was about to punch me but he hesitated because they were another man who when instructed by the both of them would walk away and cover his ears when I asked them about L. Ron Hubbards involvement with Alister Crowley, Xenu and the death of Lisa McPersion. After a ten minute scream session when Bohdi said all he does is help people and why was I against that and Jenna kept on asking What is my crime...I shouted I know what your crime is. You make shitty Television Shows. Which Jenna screamed back "FUCK YOU"!

He didn't think quickly enough on his feet. If a Scientologist asked me what crimes I'D committed, I would have said, "Well, let's see, I kidnapped my infant daughter, abused methamphetamines and barbituates, sued any enemies of mine into silence, pretended to have earned twenty-two medals while I was in the Naval service when I only got three, tried to have a critic of mine driven to insanity and then committed, allowed my wife to go to jail for crimes which I was culpable for, created a phony religion because I thought that being a penny-a-word writer was no way to get rich, swindled my gullible followers out of hundreds of millions, and then died with the very stuff that I had fervently preached against, anti-psychotic medicine, in my veins...

This person (John Roecker) is already on the record as having been threatened (a bit left to interpretation I guess), (he seems to have a lot of t-shirts about scientology

Poor Jenna doesn't have a fucking clue!! She's neck deep in her satanic cult, and just doesn't understand why people can be so mean. Awwwww.
It's pretty clear the Elfmans can no longer think for themselves....Elron Douche bag says that you're supposed ask "what are your crimes?" so they were pretty much following policy in that little skirmish. What a couple of sad sacks of shit.
I bet this John Roecker guy isn't even a hard core critic, but he can still smell the dead rat in the room---$cientology is the dead rat.

A bit more on the Elfman Scientology legacy-
Richard Elfman, Bodhi's father, is a Scientologist and has been since the late 70s/early 80s. Richard Elfman was a member of the super-cool, blow-your-mind fantastic band Oingo Boingo before they broke up in 1995. So Bodhi is second generation. Also, he (Bodhi) was the one to get Jenna in the CoS, if my memory serves me correctly.
Here's the good news-
Danny Elfman has NEVER been a Scientologist!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I just adore Danny Elfman. It would break my heart if he joined the CoS. |

A great story illustrating what hateful robots Scientologists are in real life. Scientologists like to say, "What you're doing hurts my church." Well, we can say, "What you're doing hurts my race."

Well, they are "Homo Novis" according to LRH and we are Homo Sapiens. What they are doing hurts the human race. It is a racial issue for me.

I loved Fanboy's idea but what John said above is pretty funny, too.
When I hear about incidents like these John had with the Elfman's (assuming it's true, and I can believe that it is), I feel a mix of anger, pity and amusement. I'm not sure how healthy a mix that is, but there it is.
I was watching a documentary on Sundance last night about these social experiments done in the 60/70's. It was fascinating and so much of it fit the Scn situation, i.e. people being prone to bend to authority and being swayed easily by (even simply implicite) social pressure making 'em do unbelievable things...like yelling at a person on the street, "What are your crimes?!"  (and, of course, much worse things, tragically)

Jenna sounds like Ann Coulter, not to get off topic. Maybe they both have borderline personalities.
Scientologists, when their beliefs are challenged throw these tantrums in imitation of L. Ron Humbug who was famous for his screaming tirades. If anyone was a borderline, he was. I would think if the tech really works it would teach them to be cool. After nearly two decades I still remember my ex-Sci in-law screeching at my mother with her eyes bulging with rage until I intervened. Such class. Such sophistication. Such lovely people. Maybe the public wouldn't believe this of Jenna Elfman, but I believe it. |

Richard founded the original Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo. The group ultimately morphed into the rock band, Oingo Boingo, but Richard is not listed as a member of Oingo Boingo.

Here is what I don't get about the "what are your crimes" tactic of handling critics. If you follow the logic out, it goes nowhere.
Say this John Roecker is a baby rapist. What does criticizing COS have to do with raping babies? What does a baby rapist gain from criticizing COS? Do they just randomly go around criticsizing COS? Why?
I know LRH said the whole "merchants of chaos" thing about how there are people like newspaper reporters, politicians, and police who have something to gain by bringing down COS, which would lead to more chaos, which the reporters can write about etc. But what if you're, say, a housewife, or a computer programmer and a critic? How does the alleged chaos that will ensue help you? What would be the motive? Obviously the only motive is COS is evil and the critic wants to expose it, but I guess logic has nothing to do with it. |
