First things first....

Let's get a few things straight first.....this mayor thing crept up fast...and even though i think it's a great idea and will explore the basics and get the initial paperwork done the fact remains that i am still now 8 days late with the rest of the rent and food is a luxury....i have to get employed and ahead on rent so as to effectivly do anything. I am still in the old place and have not moved yet so a lot has to be considered here....a few have helped out and still i am a far cry from being able to relax for more than a few days. If you want to help please do but know that it will be for the basics so i am able to buy some time till a job is found...my rent is the main concern now and no matter how many plans i have without that i am on the street...i have to show up with some funds for the L.L. today (that is reality)....so as far as this running for mayor thing goes...no one will listen or vote for a guy living in his car with his three cats....get it.
For those who have helped thank you it has all gone to rent and food...20 went in my gas tank...
Seeing as i am still here i will be having another yard sale to clear out everything i cannot eat...this weekend.

Thanks for the update proflex. It's good to know that you still have a roof over your head for the time being. I'm hoping that enough people are helping out that you will be able to do what it is that you want to do. Keep up the good work and keep us here informed as to what is going on with you. You have my support no matter what you decide to do. If you feel you need to get outta town for a while then do it, if not press on and do what you think is best for you.

Thank you proflex for the update and for always keeping things on level. I wish I had money to send you, but I am in the throws of working through my financial Scientology debt.

You are a smart man and will get through this with ease. Hang in. Those who can help will ... its just a matter of time. Put Scientology aside for awhile and take care of yourself. Their reputation in Clearwater is most certainly mud and is not going to get any better in the time you need to take care of yourself.

Thank you for all you have done! I don't think anyone is going to give up on the possibilty of you becoming Mayor of Clearwater, it can happen! Just a matter of getting some things settled and I know you will!

Shawn, what is your rent and how much rent do you owe now? (if its not too much of a personal question).

Note to UK clambakers, the US dollar is fantastically weak at the moment. 1 Pound = 1.95US dollars, less exchange commision, e.g. in practical terms, at the post office they'll give you 1.86 to the pound over the counter.
