The Church of Scientology International Announces Record Expansion of the Religion in 2006

The Church of Scientology International released its expansion figures for 2006 this week and announced the launch of community outreach programs for 2007 that will far surpass any year in the Church's history.

Los Angeles, CA. (PRWEB) January 4, 2007 -- The Church of Scientology International released its expansion figures for 2006 this week and announced the launch of community outreach programs for 2007 that will far surpass any year in the Church's history. We offer our help to anyone, no matter their religion, race or creed

"We live in a world where conflict, crime and continual chaos dominate the news. It is time for positive and sweeping changes," said Church of Scientology International spokesman, Rev. Bob Adams. "Working hand in hand with other churches, community leaders, government officials and a wide range of organizations, we are making a difference. And we expect 2007 to be the most spectacular year yet, in terms of positive change."

Recapping the religion's growth in 2006, Rev. Adams pointed out that in the last year more than 1,500 new centers, missions and churches of Scientology were opened, including large new central churches in both London and Berlin. With new groups this year in Afghanistan, Niger, and Bahrain the international Scientology presence now totals more than 7,500 centers, missions and churches in 163 nations.

In far-flung regions of the world, Scientology Volunteer Ministers---best known for their disaster relief efforts---set up large tents where anyone encountering a problem in their life can go for help. Carrying forward the message that, "No Matter the Problem ... Something CAN be Done about it," the Church's Volunteer Ministers Corps numbers 87,000 in 114 nations.

With the 2006 release of 30 public service announcements that bring each article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to life, the Church's human rights campaign spans 71 nations. These compelling video clips aired on 2,000 TV stations worldwide in 2006, reaching over 50 million people.

"The purpose of the campaign is to educate people on their human rights. These rights are the foundation on which freedom and peace can be built," said Rev. Adams. "More than 200 schools have adopted the campaign and are teaching human rights to children and teens. Young people are getting involved."
For two decades, Scientology Churches have sponsored a worldwide drug abuse prevention campaign. In 2006, in response to the increasing demand for drug prevention information, the Church launched a massive drug education initiative --5 million drug education booklets printed in 19 languages and distributed throughout 30 countries.

"We recognize that drugs---both street drugs and psychotropic prescription drugs---are the source of a multi-billion dollar industry that is ruining an entire generation," said Rev. Adams. "Our drug prevention programs keep young people from falling into this trap."

Beyond activities administered directly by the Church, the popularity of the secular social betterment programs that use L. Ron Hubbard's discoveries was tremendous in 2006.

From its flagship organization in Oklahoma, Narconon delivers L. Ron Hubbard's solutions to drug abuse in 184 centers across 44 nations. Criminon administers successful criminal rehabilitation in 2,000 prisons. Applied Scholastics International saw to the introduction of L. Ron Hubbard's solutions to illiteracy to more than 1.6 million people this year. And The Way to Happiness Foundation International has distributed copies of L. Ron Hubbard's common sense moral code to 70 million people worldwide.

"Our programs are there to combat every one of society's ills," said Rev. Adams. "Drug abuse, crime, illiteracy, immorality, human rights violations---these problems cannot be ignored. And while the past year saw expansion greater than at any time in our history, 2007 will be even better."

The Church of Scientology International urges all people of goodwill to take part in making a better world. "We offer our help to anyone, no matter their religion, race or creed," said Rev. Adams. "We only ask that you use these effective solutions and make them available to others."

Working together with "the enemy"? I always thought they could do it on their own!

Funny to see that in Holland there is still only one. And to know that others are almost empty.

So many and so seldom seen. And what CAN be done is not assists and not handing out TWTH.

Nope, never seen even one.

$cientology and Human Rights: the devil preaching in a church.

The biggest illness in society they seem to forget: get rid of the evil concult carrying the name "$cientology". Now THAT would be some betterment for the world!

Unless...

...you do not have the possibility to secure funding for our courses.

...you are homo or bisexual.

...you question the edited texts that the Scientology Religion (tm) use

...you ask what happened to the original texts, Scientology, that Elron wrote.

...you, for some odd reason, believe that not everything is in your mind but that some people actually have disorders caused by chemical imbalances or defects in the brain, ranging from depression to schizophrenia, and that using controlled substances can help.

...you do not agree that orders from your church superiors are to be followed without question, when they are breaking the law.

...you ask to see certificates for Rear Admiral Miscavige - being the protector and general grand moff of the religion means you should be trained in it, right?

...you ask questions. GO AWAY! (see the register first)

Alarms should always go off when someone starts rambling about "society's ills", "immorality" "making a better world".

Looks like there is no stopping them now!

Scientology is becoming ingrained in the community.

Education programs. Human rights programs.

All staffed by VOLUNTEERS working for free. Donating
money and time to insure that Scientology is looked upon
favorably in the world.

Each community group acting as the APPROPRIATE GRADIENT
to introduce Scientology to people the world over.

All feeding intro the well organized central control. Operating
on the same policy world wide.

No other organization can come close.

Scientology will soon be EVERYWHERE.

If an advanced race was attempting control of the planet, they
would follow a long-term plan just like Scientology is doing.

The more scientology crumbles, the more they have to convince their members that it's doing better than ever. :^o

This is nothing new but i have to admit this type of propaganda always puts a smile on my face (well just a little, with a sad shake of the head). :) [-(

Truth is, Scientology has ALWAYS been based on what is best for the group.

Even from the beginning individuals were "offloaded" when needed.

What some may consider scary is the fact that those who remain are
dedicated and hard core in supporting the group goals.

Even those who eventually left, gave their best towards supporting those
goals.

So what do they do now? Chatter on the internet, or organize 'pickets' with a handful of scruffy individuals.

Ignoring what they learned about getting things done.

If critics were smart, they would fight fire with fire and organize to present what they feel is a "better group" for the benefit of mankind.

But instead they remain a weak loosely orgaized cotarie of dissaffected souls.

With all the other BIG issues in the world, such as republican crimes, war in iraq, Darfour, and jobs going overseas, who is going to pay attention to them?

Oh! Is that so?
Well, seen the actions taken by the evil concult critics are better off NOT to organize. Acting as individuals with the same goal makes it much harder for the concult of evil to fight us. Organized it would be too easy. And we are not going to do that: making it easy!
Nice that you admit, no doubt without realising it, that $cientology is fascist: the only thing that matters is that it is "best for the group". What with individuals?

"Offloading" (dumping) people that are of no value anymore to the concult of evil is also antisocial.

Those who remain are as bad as the fundamentalists in the Islam: too blind to see the truth and therefor dangerous.

Those who left are now the biggest critics and make the concult of evil mad as hell! And I like that!

To us there is another, bigger issue: to destroy the concult of evil. And we are helped by the concult of evil! To mention some footbullets:
Tom Cruise
Lisa McPherson
Jeremy Perkins
Lawsuit against Karin Spaink and her ISP
Lawsuit against "Zenon" in Sweden
The Google Incident.
But also their Fair Gaming of Paulette Cooper, Shawn Lonsdale, Brett Hanover and many, many others.

The concult of evil is dangerous in its efforts, but scary? No. Ridiculous is the correct word here.

Good Morning OCMB,

This will be my undressing OSA Operations on OCMB,,,Part Two. (Part One was the outing of Pitbull)

I've let this thread run long enough to show the pattern of how it "works". Here I will show Tiggers role, complimented by her partner Pitbull's input, and I will keep it short and simple. You can either fathom it, or you can't. The "trick" is being able to view from the mind-set of an active Scientologist in the trap.

Tigger posted here a press release by the cult boasting of their huge success in 2006. May as well have come straight from the cult...well, that's my point, ...it does.

Then after a few responses back from critics, partner Pitbull comes in with his "restimulating" and "affirming" post of what the great world saving religion of Scientology is about. Then after a few more responses back from critics, all the time keeping the thread at the top, Pitbull comes in with more of his restimulation, very strongly worded and well-thought out.

All the time the thread stays at the top of the board for any "guest" Scientologist to see it, ...and believe it.

What would they believe? ...Scientology expanded greatly in 2006, and Pitbull's way "over the top" restimulation phrasing of what Scientology is all about.

Not to mention Pitbull's very intimidating song at the end of his sig box of Branded.

Next in Part Three...

How to take indentified OSA operatives on OCMB and use that to discern who their "co-horts" and sockpuppets are. Pitbull for instance has two "covers". One is the absurd idea of an isolated drunken fool with access to a keyboard at the halfway house. The more serious one is an Ex-member AND CRITIC who is exposing the cult in his own way by showing how rediculous it is, which is itself totally rediculous, but I think "bought" by some.

I will tell you who helps build, support and re-build these "persona's" of Pitbull's, and the others...and expose them. There is one I will let remain. It has been explained to me that exposing that very deep cover "critic" could be worse than letting them keep working. I disagree, but respect this opinion as it comes from someone who knows how it "works".

If you can't "see" what is going on here, that's ok. If you don't care what is going on here, why are you here? Either way I ask you to allow me to fight for the guest Scientologist that come here for the TRUTH, ...not the cult's Psy Op's.

The last time I looked at who is here, there were 2 registered, 1 hidden , and 10 guest. I want this to be a "safe place" for those guest.

All I can do is ask critics to not respond on this thread, and make only the "operatives" keep this thread at the top.

Love,
Charles

Charles, I think your phantasy is taking you to far. As far as I can see Pitbull is one of the lower echelons in the evil concult: he doesn't know anything. Or he is higher up, but than he is just spreading propaganda, which I doubt: he is ignorant to the truth and just repeating $cientology's lies, like a good $cientologist should. Tigger is not what you make of her. She proved that enough.

It is just amazing how some wish to look at only one side.
Complaining about Scientology being "facist" and insular,
while expressing similar pre-concieved agendas.

An announcment by the church regarding expansion is just as important
raw "data" as critics announcing the "death knell" of the church.

No statistical data should be taken on face value, but do any critics
offer alternative statistical data for comparison?

If an ORG opens or closes, this is verifiable data.

If new scientology public interest groups and activities come on-line,
it is verifiable for anyone wishing to do so.

Whether someone likes it or not is irrelevant.
