Keith Henson in Jail today -New thread because of importance

Not to take anything away from the other thread going on about this topic, it's just sometimes a newbie might stumble upon OCMB and not want to read a 15 page thread. This is the good stuff (happening right now) which might make him/her actually go out and take action against these wrong doings.

latest news. There was a hearing today and they have
put him in jail. He was denied
due process. The full story should be up on other
sites soon, but if you could put a notice about it on

Can we please get some honest background on the barest FACTS about this case? I don't mean long-winded tirades...I mean just the barest facts that have been entered within a court of law of the United State of America. I sure as hell am not going to start sending money to a "save so and so.." until the full account has been made about what is going on. If you need to post links then do so..but be sure to post every link that has to do with what actually happened in an American court of law.

This isn't playtime, RH - this is an issue that could be a turning point - negative for the cult. I hope it doesn't take an bad incident for the media to finally wake up and pay attention to what's happening with Keith Henson.

May I also suggest too, when Keith's new jail mailing address is published, send him a personal note or letter of support and encouragement. It's quite lonely, dark, and isolated behind bars. On the of back the envelopes, write in big bold colorful letters..... FREE HENSON
so his fellow inmates and as well as the prison guards and personnel get the message too that somethig really stinks in this case and instance.

1. Keith is in jail.
2. Bonding/bailing him out failed.
3. Attorney given until Monday to get a writ for habeas corpus in. Keith wants to do it; attorney thinks it is a needless delaying tactic but, we both think, is much more open to advice and suggestions than he was two days ago.

5. On a positve note, the judge made a comment that he thinks civil rights violations may be involved here. Arel is getting a copy of the transcript to see exactly what was said, in what context.

7. Hearing is set for the 18th right now. That is a week from Friday.
8. The deputies moved him right up close where they can keep an eye on his health. This is good.

12. She and I will talk later on today. She is not sure when she/her designate is going to post on this.
13. Keith's spirits are good; health is still shaky. I think the deputies will put him to bed.... and is fine.
